Sequoia machines, not Bush's yacht - Sequoia
I find it really odd or very cavalier that Sequoia, the machines that ripped Kerry off in Nevada by only 21,000 votes would have a statement by the voting whore herself on their website?

"After enduring the most intense media scrutiny in U.S. history, it's crucial that we work with the best technology and the most experienced vendor to restore public confidence in Palm Beach County elections. As a result of our interviews with the main voting equipment vendors and with voting supervisors across the nation, we have concluded that Sequoia not only provides the most user friendly voting systems, but it is the only company with experience converting large jurisdictions to electronic voting technology."

Theresa LePore
Palm Beach County Election Supervisor

2. Look for payoffs
Sequoia money to LePore--or "stock"--I think I read something about that somewhere, when I was reading about FLOCO's involvement in the 2000 election. Teresa learned everything she knows from FLOCO (the Cuban mafia in Palm Beach).

5. that does seem odd since, no matter what, they want to sell these
things nationwide and are touting their product as "more secure" than Diebold but we know that ain't true...

6. they took LePore's comment off their main website and moved it

Note that the guy from Vegas talks about being able to print ballots from the Sequoias but doesn't clarify that the 2,100 ten-yr old Sequoias don't print out the ballots? It's called smoke and mirrors, folks. He's talking about the new machines. His boss how bought the old machines went to work for Sequoia after she purchased the old machines and promoted Lomax ten years ago.

8. Many of the names in the testimonials...
..seem familiar.
I was just looking around on BlackBoxVoting.org site and Bev Harris mentioned "SideShow Bob" in Snohomish County. He's on the list too.

I'm seriously beginning to think that the local races for Secretary of State and Election officials are as important (if not more?) than the presidential races.

"He who counts the votes decides everything."

10. you have made a good point.
those ten year old Sequoias in Vegas may very well have helped get many Nevada state officials, Republicans for the most part, into their offices as the rest of the state had punch ballots until this year and those old paperless Sequoias were serving over 70% of the state of Nevada's voters all that time.
