Congressman CONYERS: a HERO for MEETING with MADSEN
For those who recall how "right-on" Congressman Conyers was during the phoney Clinton impeachment farce, it's great to see him in action again.

Madsen's assertions thus far have been at the edge of credibility, yet much of what he says seems to have lots of merit, so that many are taking a protective "wait and see" attitude.

The fact that Conyers is willing to jump right in and even MEET with Madsen speaks volumes about his courage and his character. It also implies that Conyer's staff have vetted some of Madsen's claims, and found them worth checking out - an encouraging sign.

Conclusion: If not JOHN KERRY for President, then JOHN CONYERS !!

2. Madsen reports that the Conyer House Dems hearings will be a "forum" only
(Farmgirl asked): "(I guess what I'm trying to get at is
whether John Conyers thought it was "looney" or really, really telling
evidence)? Thoughts?"

Madsen responds:

"Conyers and others are holding a "forum" a sort of "faux hearing" -- no sworn testimony, etc (GOP will not allow a full Judiciary Cte) hearing -- Wed in House Rayburn Bldg Rm 2237. However, proceedings can be entered into Congressional Record."

5. as long as they are
televised...
maybe it would be an opportunity for some of those republicans who publicly backed Kerry to come out and air their concerns about the vote... to lend it a layer of bi-partisan credibility

8. I believe it is William Pitt's thread that gives an e-mail address and...
phone number for C-SPAN. Apparently they aren't (or weren't) set to cover it yet, and William Pitt was asking us to call and write to request coverage. He also mentioned asking us to ask our Reps. to attend the hearing. :) -G

13. We need to give feedback to C-Span
Thanks for posting this link. Good reminder for those of us following Ohio at home and wondering how to help.

I have written to C-span today as a result. I followed C-Span a lot before the S'elections. They did a good job of staying on top of the issues. They now need to know that we WANT coverage of these rallies and this election aftermath, and that we are watching to see if they come through. If they do not acknowledge the importance of this story...I will be extremely disappointed in them.

I urge everyone to write to C-Span and tell them to <Be There> for us.

House Committee on the Judiciary Democratic Members

Also, I've been rather skeptical about this Wayne Madsen, but here's something I found today with a Picture and Short Bio on Madsen.
About Wayne Madsen
I feel a little better about his credibility now.

11. I Think Wayne Is For Real....
And you have got to believe that his background in computer security is just what is absolutely need for him to communicate securely with sources....I guarantee you that Bushitler has ordered that Madsen be bugged using all the modern fascist technology.

12. "Sit down, my son ..."
I'll never forget that for as long as I live, John Conyers in Farenheit 9-11. He went straight to the heart of the matter and summed it up a major problem in Congresss, with one short, to-the-point sentence.

You bet I could live with Conyers as president.
