What early state returns are you most interested in? |
|
Mine: Florida of course, Virginia (due to Zogby's latest teaser) and Ohio. The election could be over by about 7:30 est. Gawd, I'm such a wreck. :)

If Arkansas goes Kerry, then I'd guess that Iowa will go Kerry, which would mean that Wisconsin is looking good, which would mean that Michigan is in the bag, and that would bode well for Ohio, which would mean that Pennsylvania would likely go for Kerry, and that would indicate a sweep across the Northeast, and esp. New England, including New Hampshire, and if New Hampshire goes for Kerry that would be a good harbinger for the heavily independent Oregon, and if the whole of the Pacific Coast is Blue, then Nevada may really go for Kerry, and there could be a strong showing in New Mexico, and Colorado, Kerry's home state. So that would leave Missouri as the interesting battleground.
The Virginia race is interesting too.

11. Younger Arkansans Actually Figured Out How to Vote |
|
I heard from guys in my fraternity that they noticed a lot younger voters at the polls down here in the Natural State. Call me optimistic but I think Arkansas will be wearing a new color tonight. I'm and we for sure have the House and Senate race in the bag. No question about that!

I know Kerry has a snowball's chance in hell there; but Dr. Dan Mongiardo has a real chance to steal a senate seat for the left. The polls close at 7:00 pm Eastern, so we may know how Dr. Dan did as early as 7:30...
I also REALLY want to see how Ohio shakes out. The polls close there at about 8:00 pm, but somehow I doubt we'll have any real answers out of that state before 10 Eastern...

Its 7 count too... I was very active when I went to college in Iowa. Plus my Uncle drove to Des Moines to drive people to the polls and help out.... Love you Uncle Kirsten!!!!
Wish I didn't live in red Texas.... but am hoping Texas gets a pretty good democrat turnout for sake of local races...

... though I haven't read Palast's prediction.
Pennsylvania has been steadily moving further and further in the Kerry direction the past few weeks so I'm not worried as much about them. Thus far, OH and FL are looking good for us but a bigger lead couldn't hurt.

vote for Bush because of 9/11. Honestly, Bush's cronies made the EPA LIE about the danger in the air there after the attack. So, people I know, including my brother, were down there working, thinking they were safe.
