Michael Fox, here. I've been the Florida State Coordinator for a little over 24 hours right now and we're officially entering crunch time.

12. I'm in NC

And I'm planning on doing this. I went to the NC forum here in DU asking if anyone is doing anything, participating, etc. No one has responded that they're going. I'm soliciting friends in my town to come with me. I'm writing emails to NC dem organizations asking if anybody is heading any protest efforts on that day, no responses as of yet. I don't give a shit. I'm disappointed at this point but I'm still planning on going. I will do this by myself if I have to.

this is a great opportunity to give TV and press some good images. one thing i was thinking was a funeral for democracy - hire a herse and a coffin, dress in black, get some wreaths with American Democracy 1776 - 2004 RIP written on them etc... would get the point across and MSM can't resist a good image, plays so much better than all these hard core statistics people are coming up with (important sure, but not very sexy).
