Poll question: Poll: Are you expecting something to happen from DNC/ KE in the next week? |
|
Edited on Sun Dec-05-04 06:06 PM by Farah
From what I've been reading, there have been alot of mixed views on what form of action may be taken in the closing stages of this election.
Despite the fact that there is so much irrefutable evidence of vote fraud, time is ticking!
I would just be interested in knowing where everybody stands on this situation.
edit: smiley came out wrong!

That anyone should feel free to express their opinions/frustration on this thread...
(Just hope it won't get too carried away...)

3. Kerry is already helping... |
|
So are the 527's and enlightened members of Congress and journalists and celebs. If someone out is thinking that we are in this alone - they haven't been paying attention.
Also I don't know if THIS is the week that IT will happen - but progress will be made. It is already being made so fast at this point that my head is spinning!

Either Kerry steps up and demands a recount NOW or it's LOST. This is RIDICULOUS.

I voted "I've given up hope," but the truth is that I never had any hope -- at least not for one single second since Kerry prematurely conceded.

10. alright, I decided to leave this overnight to see how far it got... |
|
and I've gotta say how sad it is that such a large proportion of people seem to have given up hope :( does anyone else have any opinions they wish to express on this matter... I gotta say that I'm hoping still that we're gonna see some unexpected break through... but my hope is fading as time passes, as I'm sure that many of you are feeling?

I think we can make a difference without Kerry, by reclaiming our ability to vote. That's all Iv'e been after. This isn't about Kerry or Bush right now for me...it's about democracy.
Election night, I watched the lagging blue numbers rolling hours delayed behind all red numbers...the movement of the system seemed wrong. The exit polls were (without explanation) "adjusted". I watched the fix go down.
That very moment I knew how hard it would be to get Kerry to act on this. I decided then, that my priority would be to make damn sure that it would never happen again. I haven't changed from that time.
If earning fair elections brings us a Kerry presidency, then great! But that has never been my goal in this. I jsut want democracy in all future elections to be served.

12. DU is not the center of the world |
|
I've only been coming to DU since the election, but sometimes I get the sense that people think that if DU doesn't know about it, it isn't happening. Logically it can't be true. There is a media blackout on post-election fraud issues and some good reasons for Dems to lay low with whatever is going on. Its really frustrating to try to figure it out in bits and pieces, but I can't believe that the people who post here are the only ones who care deeply about this election!

13. Q. How do you know the secret plan is working? |
|
A. Because the Democrats are not doing or saying anything.
