Missing Link: Actual application of the program
I am just not sure as to where the proof is that Curtis's program was actually used. Where is the proof? I would like to see the proof, but my friend pointed out to me that while it does prove that it could have happened, there isnt much proof that it did happen without knowing the truth of the exit polls. Am I right in thinking this or am I glossing over something major?

1. I have patience and suggest you get some, too
Time will reveal all and I'm willing to wait. Conyers is having his hearings and this will help shed light on it. Like Will Pitt said tonight - fasten your seat belts.

2. NM this quote kinda does it for me
From the affadavit:

"You don't understand, in order to get the contract we have to hide the manipulation in the source code. This program is needed to control the vote in South Florida."

4. You don't need that sort of proof.
Showing that there was intent to commit a crime is certainly enough to compel a full-scale investigation.

6. Conyers has asked to see raw data on exit polls.
Maybe that's why.

7. Demo model
What Curtis programmed was a demo model. The proof that the demo model was upgraded to the working model hasn't been shown yet. The important thing about his affidavat is that it shows INTENT and METHOD. The important thing about the exit polls is that they show RESULTS of the INTENT and the METHOD. What we don't have, yet, is the middle piece: was Curtis' demo model upgraded to a working machine? For ME, I'd say it's just a matter of time before that piece falls into place.

8. I agree with your sentiment here!
I am somewhat worried that the machines could be being scrubbed as we speak. I wish we could get a copy of what was on machines election day for independent people to pick apart. Really, that underscores what should be one of our goals for this effort. Not only should there be voter-verifiable paper trails for audits or counts in case of equipment malfunctions like the kind seen in NC, but there also should be open source-code running these machines that can be fully vetted by independent experts.
