Has Anyone looked at US House TX-32?
I remember seeing a suspicious looking "turn-out" map in the Dallas Boring (Morning) News highlighting the great GOTV effort on behalf of the Rethugs in Dallas County. The reason I bring this race up is because it was between two incumbents. Martin Frost was highly respected here locally because of his accomplishments in creating the Amber Alert laws, enhancing mass transit, and revitalizing business in the southern areas of his new district. Pete Sessions is a generic three term Rethug with questionable ethics. He was ticketed for stealing his opponent's campaign signs from yards last election cycle. Martin Frost was on the short list to succeed Gephardt as minority leader in the house after Gephardt announced his run for President in 03.

Considering that Dallas County elected its first ever Hispanic Sheriff, I find this race suspect. Lupe Valdez, a lesbian Hispanic woman beat one of the "Good Ole Boys" to become Sheriff 51-49. Some precincts in Richardson were >85% in turnout. Dallas County almost went to Kerry too. 50.5-49.8 or something really close to that.

P.S. I did early voting on an E-voting machine and it beeped and flashed at me when I picked Kerry-Edwards!! :wtf:

2. No, but it would be really easy to get and crunch data.
www.dalcoelections.org ... Have at it. :D

BTW, did you know that there were actually U.S. Department of Justice people in town pollwatching in that area because of that race? Seriously, no shit. A friend of mine was pollwatching and he said that two people from the DOJ were there pollwatching as well. They told him they were from the DOJ and they did all kinds of interviews of everyone who was turned away.

Did you report your voting machine problem?

voteproblem.org has been up and down like a yoyo, but 1-866-OUR-VOTE may still be taking voice mail.
