Kerry Campaign Advance Team Having Trouble Getting Paid
---snip---
Despite a recent discovery of $15 million in leftover campaign money, some of the Kerry campaign advance team are having trouble getting paid for the last several weeks of the campaign. Worse, many of them have not seen a per diem check since the end of August, we're told, and they do not know when they're going to get paid.

1. maybe they should have asked for an "advance"
on their wages?

Sorry poor attempt at humor. I hope they get paid because they did a tremendous job in those last weeks with the big crowds in Philadelphia, Madison, Detroit and Cleveland (and elsewhere)

2. Ah, the old Novak "some" and "many" of the some...
Some could = 3, and Many of those could = 2.

Grain of salt time.

3. "there are rumblings that" and "were told"
only makes up a gossip. not news.

This "in the loop" is just a washington insider gossip coulmn.

Could it be true? Sure, or not.

Could Bush be a having an affair with Condi? Could he be a Eunech? Still an alcoholic? Sure, or not.

No better than Drudge, its pitiful for the WP to print this sort of swill.

4. Maybe Kerry decided to pay them before he decided not to.
