As I watch C-SPAN I see the whole room full of Democrats

and Independents too but no Republican in sight. How sad.

I really wish the Repugs could see what several of the people at the Hearing mentioned...this is not about the victory of one candidate over another, it is not about the 2004 election, it is about our Democratic process and it is about our confidence in a government that has the will of the people behind it. This issue of election fraud is not a partisan issue. If we care about our government, about the legitimacy of our government, and about our Democracy then this issue is priority number 1. Period. It is extremely disheartening that the GOP prefers to remain loyal to a party that is undermining our government each and every minute. I am deeply disturbed and distressed that the checks and balances in our government that are supposed to protect us are now, apparently, eradicated. I am very glad to see that this room full of Democrats and Independents is fighting for our Democracy, for the legitimacy of our government, for the transparency of our election process, for the truth of what happened in the election, for justice, for this cause...for everything that is important to me and to many. Thank you to all who created this Hearing and to all who participated in this action.

4. republicans care about one thing, and one thing only, Power.
It's a direct result of their corporate upbringing. They believe in the corporate system wholeheartedly. They believe it's the perfect model for running a country, military, etc.

They hate democracy.
They hate workers.
They hate honesty.
They hate civil liberties.
They hate discourse.
They hate the thought process.
They especially hate diversity.

A fine example they set for our youth.

8. You gotta wonder.....
sometimes I think what they hate most is THEMSELVES...classic psychoanalytic reversals.

Personally, I have no idea how they can LIVE with themselves.

I get physically nauseous when I see them , either on TV or in Print, anywhere. They just make me want to vomit.

5. Oh they're watching it and listening it. Bank on that.

They can't afford not to.

Their absence is not about disinterest, it's about disrespect for the entire process. It's about maintaining the illusion that everything they've stolen since 2000 is in fact rightfully theirs. It's also about being afraid of being front and center because they have nothing of value to contribute. The GOP accomplishes all their ends behind the scenes and this is no exception. They will move heaven and earth to quash whatever evidence is unearthed as a result of this hearing and stop reform of a rigged process which has served them so well.
