I'm trying to write the conclusion to my current term paper, but of course keep getting distracted by life. I looked out my window and saw a work truck with a Kerry/Edwards and No War sticker on the back. What the hell! I got up and went outside to find the worker. He was next door servicing the neighbor's pool. I walked up to him, stuck out my hand, introduced myself and thanked him for keeping his stickers on his truck.

When he expressed disappointment over the loss I told him not to lose hope yet and reminded him of the situation in Ohio. He thought the recount had already been done! I let him know about the recount, the recent law suit and the Conyers hearing. He was ecstatic and said he was racing home to call his buddies and tell them the news.

Damn this is getting to be a good day! I feel like roaring, but I might wake the baby.

In a time of instant news coverage, Conyers hearing is called a "Faux" hearing

I was talking to my sister, who sadly, gets all her news from tv. She also had NO knowledge of the Ohio recount, litigations, etc.

*sigh*

...I've seen that light in peoples' eyes, too, when I tell them what-all is happening with the recount, lawsuits, development of evidence, etc. They immediately understand it--because they know, deep down, that something was very wrong. They are so happy that it's not "just them"--that they're not alone, and that their gut instinct is being confirmed.

We ARE the majority, after all--Kerry voters. It's amazing how the corporate news media can make 60 million people feel so isolated.

7. My therapy is to tell people about election fraud...

...which is pretty risky in a 50/50 county. The reaction has been extremely positive.

I also give out pre-printed little slips of paper with key websites, where to send money for recounts and investigations, a plug for Air America Radio, and my e-mail address.
