Compiling list of errors/glitches/fraud to write about for Media
I know there are lots of things I can't remember but here is my list so far. It is posted at http://www.1-2-free-forums.com/mf/viewtopic.php?p=26&mforum=mtf#26

My goal is to a have a nice list of problems to choose from when introducing this topic to the media. Regardless of whether you think it will work or not, please add instances I haven't thought of an please cite your source (even thought I didn't).

If this thread gets long and hard to dig through I can recompile all the imput and start a new thread.

-------Begin List---------------

History of installing uncertified firmware/software. (can find in Bev's book, which I have)

Secretaries of state (WA I think) waiving certification requirements due to limited time frame.

Insufficient certification requirements (not performing source code or security analysis. (www.blackboxvoting.org)

Unbalanced distribution of voting machines in Ohio
Both at the beginning of the day and at the end

Police presence at Florida polling place

Exit poll results. Compare to role in Ukraine fraud claims.

Insecure modem transfer of votes

Technicians working on voting machines during of after elections without swearing oaths as election officials (and poll workers) do.

Ohio Secretary of State requiring voter registration forms to be 80# text weight.

Of touch screen errors where a undesired candidate was selected when choosing the desired candidate 84 of 89 incidents found on the election incident reporting system were in favor of Bush

Incredibly long lines to vote in historically democratic areas.

Warren County Ohio lockdown situation remains unresolved after the country officials claimed they received a specific warning from the FBI and the FBI denies having issued the warning.

Attempts to stop recount effort in Ohio

Voting machine company ownership by very partisan people.

Voting machine company executives openly very partisan.

1. Nice source here
Separated by state and machine or voter suppression. I'm pulling out all the stictly machine malfunctions and adding up the vote totals for my own media push. Whoever pulled this together is an absolute angel.

3. secretary of state in Ohio
changing rules for provisional ballots no less than 6 weeks before election leading to confusion and misinformation (new law -- "a provisional ballot must be cast *in your precinct* -- when the whole idea behind provisional ballots is you cast your ballot, give your old address and new address, and they confirm you are a registered voter, just in a new district (my understanding, please feel free to clarify or change if I didn't get it right) ( http://www.freepress.org/columns/display/3/2004/983 )

BTW: he retracted the 80# paper weight under public pressure (his "reasoning" behind it, as he told Tavis Smiley, was that 10 years ago many absentee ballots were destroyed in the mail machines...) -- though many districts did not take the requirement off of their websites -- and some districts sent back "disqualified" absentee ballots, when it was not necessary ...
