54. You are badly misinformed ...........
Fibroids are not pre-cancerous growths. Unless they grow to be too big or cause other problems such as bleeding, pain, etc. the doctors leave them alone. Repeat, they are not pre-cancerous, and I should know, I had them for years until they caused too much bleeding and I had to have them removed.

99. Don't quote me on this, but I don't think Katherine Blackwell's going to
be able to do much malice in all of this, especially after he has already done his part in certifying the votes this last Monday. But I'm assuming if they have evidence that 65,000 votes, which is the amount Cliff is claiming, went from Kerry's column to Bush's, then they can determine from there the correct numbers. I think I read from other DUers that it will most likely go to the OH Supreme Court. Katherine Blackwell will probably be "out of the way" because he has already certified the votes.

Again, I'm no expert, just speculating, but I'm pretty sure this will have nothing to do with Katherine Blackwell. I could be wrong though.

Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 08:19 PM by tinfoil_beret
What kind of evidence would show 1) that Kerry won Ohio and 2) that Kerry won the popular vote?

The only evidence that would demonstrate that would be 1) the logs of tabulation computers from Ohio counties showing enough tampering to flip Ohio's vote and 2) the logs of tabulation computers from other states showing enough tampering to flip the popular vote.

The only other possible evidence that might demonstrate these claims would involve a whistleblower.

Surely, he can't mean that he has statistical evidence that he believes can prove it. Can he?

Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 07:36 PM by Darknyte7
I just haven't at all followed this whole "Curtis" thread of the story, and I left the office this evening before Mr. Arnbeck came on with Randi, so I'm sorry I missed it.

I'm an attorney, and I once clerked for a year for a Superior Court Judge on a criminal calender (Rape, Robbery, Murder, Drug Ring Conspiracies and the like) in a city of about 300,000 people. My judge did 28 trials that year and countless other evidentary hearings and such. The facts that I saw associated with cases, not to mention stuff I heard about from other clerks in the courthouse, would blow the minds of many.

I guess my point here is that I'm hardly willing to put much past these clowns, and Arnebeck isn't the type of professional that's going to arbitrarily risk impugning his own hard earn credibility, on a national radio broadcast no less.

Truth really is stranger then fiction...

162. The 'recount' was very limited
So it's quite likely that if vote shuffling took place it was somewhere they didn't look. My recollection is that the red shift was around 10% there which is very high and very unlikely, so my feeling is that there was fraud in NH but it hasn't been found yet. And it may never be (if it was there). So we'll probably never know for sure.

129. I have a theory about that
Kerry simply doesn't want to become a polarizing figure as Bush* has been. He wants to unite the nation by being accepted by all the people. Had he been out front as all of us wanted, there is no way he would have any chance at gaining acceptance by the half of this country that is red.

Because I saw David Boies interviewed twice before this election, I have wondered repeatedly if he is involved in the strategy. He released his book immediately prior to the election. That book included invaluable information we might need should a constitutional crisis arise.

I believe there are many people involved in this strategy who are keeping a very low profile. It has occurred to me many times that when David Boies walked away following the 2000 supreme court decision, his attitude was "we will get them next time."

Next time is now.

always, always thought there was a plan.

There was no way everyone who ever fought for civil rights suddenly forgot about them. For the first time, all the Democrats sounded the same.

Talking point numero uno: We don't challenge the fact that Bush won."
Talking point two: Not that we expect it to change the outcome.
Talking point three: This is a grass-roots effort.

Wait, that last one is US! Yay, us!

155. # 2: Why seek to change the outcome, when they know they've won....
....especially, since the earliest day that the election is 'over' is 6 Jan 2005?

If they know they have the votes, and have known for quite some time, then I would expect those speaking for Senator Kerry and for the DNC to say exactly what they've said: "...not that we expect to change the outcome."

McAuliffe, the DNC and KE04 have been parsimonious, since 2 Nov 2004 in issuing statements, in fact, I can find only four media releases on the DNC site as of tonight that even mention the issue. One is from 8 Nov 2004, one from 10 Nov 2004, one from 24 Nov 2004, and the other is from 6 Dec 2004.

What is interesting is that in the 10 Nov 2004 release he gives a nod to "...Republicans simply received more votes than Democrats in this election."; he does not repeat that statement in the other three releases. He does not mention Bush in any.

It is interesting to read what else Mr McAuliffe said on 10 Nov 2004:

"With that in mind, as our nominee made clear, we are not contesting the outcome of this election.

BUT win, lose or draw, the Democratic Party feels that every vote is a voice. And to that end, we are committed to ensuring that every vote cast in 2004 be counted.

"While counting every ballot will not change the outcome of this election, the DNC feels that the voters deserve to have a full, fair and accurate final count."

He is consistent in all four releases that they are not urging every vote be counted in order to 'change the outcome.' Correct -- counting every vote (and correcting all those that were switched) will ensure on 6 Jan 2005 the outcome that the voters intended on 2 Nov 2004.

I also found the "BUT win, lose or draw.....ensuring ever vote cast in 2004 be counted" to be a remarkable statement, both the first time I read it, on 6 Nov 2004, and each time I've read it since.

Just a few casual thoughts as we all do what is so essential after extensive preparation for a "once in a lifetime challenge" -- drink some good wine, eat some good food, get some sleep because early Monday, 13 Dec 2004, the 'olympics phase' of the national election of 2004 begins.

Peace.

Randi says she's been threatened. For speaking about election FRAUD. She said not by her own company but by "outside forces". I think that is how she said it. She said she needs a lawyer.

As a regular listener of Randi's, I could tell a difference in her coverage, and I know I wasn't the only one who noticed this. I have wondered who/if pressure was being applied.

I like the way it sounds, and I would love for it to be true. I think there may be some that feel that way, but I'm sure that there's a whole lot more who would attack if he did (just following orders). All the suspicious irregularities and voting problems, and yes, the evidence of FRAUD, will certainly soften his landing when he jumps in. I think it's a good thing he's stayed out of the picture. I've never been one of the people yelling about him giving us too easily. I came to believe on Nov. 4, that there was a reason he conceded so quickly.

....occured today. Something I have not seen since 2 Nov 2004 in the 'press.' Now, I could have missed an AP or other news release dealing with some issue of systemic disenfranchisement in the 2004 national election that received significant uptake by other media outlets, but I don't recall any.

An AP item (posted here by others) and it was rather quickly posted by the NY Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/national/AP-Unsettled-Election.html?oref=login

Within a brief interval (first check I did was at 1305 PST) a google search:

http://news.google.com/news?num=100&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&tab=wn&ie=UTF-8&scori ng=d&q=doubts+persist&btnG=Search+News

showed more than 10 hits for "Doubt persists."

It is now ~ 1900PST, and the number is 81.

I'm expecting to be online by ~ 0100 PST 13 December 2004 and anticipate a very interesting day. I did some independent email correspondence with folk at AfD and they confirmed their email posted at DU earlier today at:

140. Here's a link to the show I found
http://www.randirhodesarchives.com/

The White Rose Society didn't have anything recent.

Was it in the first half or second half? I listened to most of the first half.

and something big is happening Monday

oh and Randi talks too much

and she's having some kind of surgery

she needs a lawyer

she's been threatened by "outside" forces

but WTF is the deal with Arnebeck?

Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 07:45 PM by ailsagirl
(re all the voter problems in Ohio), "None of the glitches were in Kerry's favor."

Now isn't that interesting??

What are the odds of that happening non-intentionally?? How are the repugs going to refute THAT??

Oh, I forgot... they create their own reality.

Those people are loonies

107. I just tuned into Randi's show
and heard a clip of a poll worker who was very upset over what happened in Ohio. Does anyone know where this testimony came from? That is, was there some hearing on C-SPAN where people testified??

110. Alright
The new evidence to be presented at the hearing is also the new evidence Arnebeck is talking about on the radio. They are connected, whatever it is is HUGE.

141. Thanks so much for this link.
My favorite line of Arnebeck's was in response to Randi's question whether CSPAN was going to cover the proceedings on Monday...

..he said he wasn't sure about that, but that he fully expects to have respectable press coverage on Monday, and that "we are going to have some people who are going to blow this thing away."

I swear to f'ing God, if this whole Curtis thing is a hoax someone needs to be taken out. I hope that Monday will be as big as Arneback says. I only have to remember Bev's big announcement and the subsequent court bitchslap that followed to be anxious, cautious, desperately optimistic, etc...

Please God, let them have proof. That is all that anyone other than this board is going to respond to- definitive, resulting in felony charges truth.

161. didn't like 1 thing he said during Conyers hearing
Arnebeck said during the hearing there were two types of fraud committed: the open kind (long lines at the polls as a result of shortage of vote machines) and the hidden kind. With the latter Arnebeck said fraud came exclusively from the vote machines and that elections workers didn't have anything to do with acts of fraud. I don't know about that.

Nick
