oversampling of polls set way for Dixiecrat excuss???? |

We know that republicans were oversampling republicans in polls during the election. Was this oversampling and high republican turn out/ low democrat turn out to set way for Dixiecrat theory?

1. No. Dixiecrats do exist. But the story with them is |
|
That they have been trending steadily more democratic for 20 years.

2. There really are bible belt Dixiecrats in Florida & Bush focus on minister |
|
The main focus of the Bush get out the vote was on evangelical churches and stressing the message on homosexual marriage and abortions. Church goers were strongly pushed to vote for Bush, though I've seen few indications that he believes in many of the teachings of Jesus. Maybe he's really Jewish and only believes in the Old testiment. Not to disparage Jews, there any many who have an entirely different understanding of teachings than Bush and whose views are consistent with those of Jesus(who was afterall Jewish).

It been seen for decades in local and national elections. I think their crooked polling was more to set us up for the FRAUDULENT voting totals. Throw the 'moral issues' lame ass excuse into the mix and you have KKKarls two main smoke screens for the corporate MSM to parrot throughout the land.

4. dixiecrats exist, but oversampling repubs to account for them is b.s. |
|
if some percentage of democrats are dixiecrats who are more likely to vote republican for prez, then why wouldn't that same percentage of dixiecrats show up in the polled sample?
or, more to the point, how would you know that they are underrepresented in your sample in order to justify adding more republicans?
the only legitimate excuse to oversample republicans is if you have evidence that a higher percentage of republicans will actually vote than the percentage of democrats that will actually vote.

5. The polling before the election was suspect. |
|
I recall that DUers here were taking apart the sampling showing that the results were based on over sampling of Republicans. Why would they do that?
Much harder to steal the election if the polling showed Kerry clearly in the lead.
Cook the polls. Fix the exit polls. Change the actual results. Get the media to validate the results.
That's how you steal an election.....and democracy.
