Yup, seems fairly accurate to me in its context.
And Yes, That Post was utterly useless and ignored by all. We really don't care how long someone's been here if they have nothing of value to add.
But Thanks for caring! :hi:

The clock is ticking towards inauguration, I believe it is in last week of January 2005. Once Shrub gets inaugrated, he is officially the president. The courts can not remove a sitting president. Only the congress has power to impeach (house of reps) and then remove (senate) from office. And you know who is the majority party in congress. These are all facts, they are REALITY.
Now here is my point....we better win our case of voter fraud in courts of law and the public opinion court before shrub is inaugurated. Otherwise, unfortunately, we are stuck with 4 more years of right wing government.

Please remember we are not only fighting for Kerry to be elected. It is far bigger than that.
And We WILL expose it. We WILL gain public support. We WILL continue to gain momentum. And that, good sir, is REALITY.
And we all know the clock. We weren't born yesterday. Most of us actually KNOW the date in January LOL
But we grow stronger each day. We WILL be victorious. We WILL ACCEPT NO OTHER OUTCOME.
Thank you.

It's not just bigger, it's everything.
They can't afford not to take the White House, as they have bet everything they have on winning this election, but they seem to have bet more on this race than they should have. If we win they're done for good. If they had lost the presidency they could have come back stronger in 2008 with a super majority in the house and senate. That's lost to them now, it's all or nothing time, right now, in Ohio. They're bluffing a lot more than people think.
I watched as a lurker as you DUers succeeded where unlikely, won when improbable, and joined once you started kicking the impossible in the ass. You should know by now that you are miracle workers, and you can win this thing.

We have certainly been steadfast; and, so many have worked so hard. Though I was limited by what I could do because of health reasons, I watched as DUers seemed to almost singlehandedly push this election towards John Kerry, and I've never been so proud. We really cannot give up now. We put too damn much into this race to win back our country. Heads up everybody, and keep the faith. NO SURRENDER!
P. S. I know there were thousands of others out there that worked just as hard, it's just that all my attention was on DU, where my heart is.

|
We, the people, will not relent in this fight. When they knock us down we will get back up. We are the minority, the concerned Americans that know the truth. The odds are stacked against us, and the enemy is strong.
My Reality: As long as there are concerned Americans that are willing to sacrifice for the cause of truth, justice and freedom, the BFEE will not prevail. It is our solemn duty to our Nation and our children that we never surrender this fight.

only congress has the power to remove a president. That is why the inauguration date of January 20th, 2005 is so critical at this point. Given unassaiable evidence, the congress will act to remove the president, mainly due to fear of public reprisals in the next election. But the task will be much harder after Jan 20th.

|
There's a difference between anarchy and protest.
Because I see people mobilizing. If * gets inaugurated again, he will do something else that will bring people to the streets. If he pisses off enough people--and I'm thinking about the vets being called back into service and Nat'l Guard not being allowed to leave the service and their families--there will be protests.
They might be anti-war protests, they might be electronic voting protests, they might be gay rights protests, or another reproductive rights protest--but people are wise to the scene, and wise people can change the world without anarchy.

27. Snowball Effect Is Real |
|
Did you catch the photo of construction along the parade route between the White House and Capitol Hill? The inauguration is real but it won't be Dubya's! We need to keep on keepin' on and send as many email messages and faxes as we can to everyone with any positive influence on this recount process.
Blackwell has tipped his hand! He did fine up until now as Rove gave him step-by-step instructions. Then, however, when law-abiding citizens began examining actual voting records in county offices, KKKarl Rove couldn't stop it and you practically could hear him scream, "DO SOMETHING!" into Blackwell's telephone. That long-distance connection from the Potomac Basin through the mountains and into Columbus isn't as long as Blackwell thought!
The international election observers who were here on November 2 but not allowed to witness ANY of the tallying and now are in Ukraine have stated that the fraud there is a camp cookout compared with 11/2 in the United States!
Victory is within our grasp! We just need to support our recount troops and leaders and watch Kerry waltz into the West Wing.

31. i smelled the fear election morning when blackwelll tried... |
|
... to hinder exit polls in Ohio. I saw it election evening, when Rove assembled the Stepford Bush family photo-op and Warren County locked out the press on the grounds that al Qaeda might be planning to bomb them. Fear was in the air when Papa Bush, Baby Bush and Karl Rove showed up at the Clinton library opening for the "we are all presidents" mutual admiration festival. Everytime Blackwell does something stupid like order an illegal rule change in how provisional ballots will be judged or an illegal lockdown in voting records, I smell GOP B.O.
But I really smelled the fear when they took to the streets in the Ukraine.
I wish I had been a fly on the wall of Karl Rove's office when he realized that the administration was gonna attempt a "do over" in the Ukraine. He must have been furious. He was trying so hard to keep anyone at home from thinking about election fraud, and his own foreign service made election fraud front page news.

there is going to be some serious fragmentation of society. Painful times ahead either way.
It was interesting to read how some on the board were attempting to alert the others that there seemed to be a danger to their reality by what is discussed here, and others just wanted to feel up democratic women's boobs. A... different sort of political discourse.
Hey Freepers, contradicting absolute ideas forced to justify erode the capacity for critical thinking.

48. Although I admire your optimism and enthusiasm, I am concerned. |
|
The older I get, the more I realize the old adage is true: "Don't count you chickens before they hatch."
What I'm suggesting is that quite a few chicks have been hatched, but there is still a LONG way to go. This fight will be long and bitter. We have not yet seen the repugs fight (remember FL 2000? The protesters banging on the doors as the recounts happened?).
True, there has been monumental shift in the last few days, and I am as excited as anybody about the potential. I want Kerry inaugurated, because I believe he IS the President-Elect. But we still have a long way to go, and time is not a friend to us. Can it be done? Sure. WILL it be done? Only time will tell.
Sorry for busting anyone's bubble - just a word of caution.

One must be wary of counting their eggs before they hatch. To do so in this case is to possibly set one's self up for very damaging disappointment. From what Arnebeck has said recently it does not seem that he actually has strong evidence that will convince the courts. The bastard media is not even reporting the Conyers forum from Wednesday of this week. Is it possible that he will drop a bomb on Monday? Sure. Is it likely? Sure. Is it also equally possible that he will present statistical evidence in order to get a court order to examine the machines through forensics and testing by the experts? Yes -- this will be the bomb that they will be allowed to do that. But... Who knows? I only advise that people hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Either way -- despite the outcome -- we have to stand and fight for the better interest of our country.
God bless you all.
And I hope it turns out the way you're saying original poster, but we shall all have to simply wait and see.

We may be in the right, but that didn't stop them from stealing it in 2000. True, we have more money and lawyers this time. But it is far from certain. Just imagine the outrage from the other side. Only thing that would stop them would be Bush stepping down willingly and gracefully--and I just can't imagine that. Or would he? He seems to be in one tight spot after the other, these days. The Intel bill, Columbia wanting to assassinate him, Canada protesting him, Kerik and others withdrawing from serving, and Rummy seems worse than ever. He can't do without him though, so is stuck with him. Man, I wouldn't want to be him in a second term! But then, I'm not him.

50. I've got a bad feeling. |

If arnbeck said that he can't win in the courts, that it will take MSM support, then we are screwed. I predict that his case is based on statistical analysis that will not impress the courts. If he had any hard evidence, he wouldn't need the MSM.

56. Its not a lack of evidence |

Its jurisdiction that's the problem. The whole system of checks and balances has been upset.
The fraud is on a level that leaves no uncompromised party in a position of authority to level charges.

We have to hammer them and hammer them. We need to investigate every single election since 1998 and see if the legitimate candidate won. We need to publicly expose all candidates that won via mistake or fraud. Max Cleland deserves to be Senator and we need to make the public aware of that. The line in the sand must be drawn or else the Repuketards will be stealing more and more elections. Soon, they'll have a 70/30 advantage in the Senate and even a larger majority in the house. It'll be catastrophic for our rights and our freedoms. It'll be a disaster for our nation's economy, inflation will be in double digits as well as our unemployment rates. Our public schools will be decimated and only the elite will get a quality education.
Enough is enough!! We need to fight everyday from now on. The line must be drawn HERE.

74. Can you please give me a couple reasons why you think that? |

I have been away from this board board for a week because I have seen nothing to give me the kind of exuberance(?) you are feeling about the outcome of the election, and that "they" are indeed scared...
I would much prefer to think that I missed some big developements than that we are deluded... Help me somebody-

I see a lot of trolls on DU today. It is super encouraging that we have people like you that don't allow them to fester and run rampant.
Can't wait for Monday!

that there is a chance our fight will not have the desired results, BUT it is not in vain. If we fail to fight for democracy we have failed as human beings, as patriots.
The only real defense the right has is to call us loonies and tin foil hatters....they KNOW what happened. In the deep dark recesses of their pathetic little minds they KNOW. Pride and arrogance keeps them from admitting how badly things are going in the country but they KNOW. They KNOW bush has lied to them and they KNOW the election was "iffy" at best.
I laugh at the rights attempts to paint us as out of touch loonies....it's called projection.
