I brought this back because I truly think that the things that DU and other blogs have accomplished so far are a spectacular exercise in democracy. I wanted to thank you. It was archived (the archives work!), so I couldn't kick it. I removed the question mark originally in the title -- I'm feelin' really positive.

Some of the theories on the media's silence and the reason Kerry conceded, along with the idea that this was our fight to fight, are expressed beautifully in your responses to the thread.

Congratulations on everything that you've done and and continue to do to achieve our goals of fair elections and putting to rest our well-earned suspicions that something here just smells fishy.

9. Perfect storm....have to say, could be perfect timing.

So many have been critical of Kerry for not stepping in, but think about what we're not looking at...

With Kerry entering the fray at this particular point in time, it'll likely force this issue into the media at a very good time--right when Arneback's lawsuit is about to be filed, right when the Conyer's hearings are to be held in Ohio, and right when the Ohio recount will begin.

By design? Who knows, but it could be the perfect timing. Force the media to cover it at exactly the time when the key pieces of information are coming out...

I'm from Illinois and we dems won 75% of the vote for Obama. People down the middle can still be reasoned with. (The other 25% is a lost cuse and will only for someone they think is Jesus.) I've seen it first hand.
