20 facts about voting in USA; and Democrats let * steal ANOTHER election
http://www.nightweed.com/usavotefacts.html

Did you know....
80% of all votes in America are counted by only two companies: Diebold and ES&S.

There is no federal agency with regulatory authority or oversight of the U.S. voting machine industry.

The vice-president of Diebold and the president of ES&S are brothers.

....

The subject of my anger these past few days is not that Bush won (because he didn't) but that, knowing what they know, the Democrats let him steal yet another election.

Why else, then, must we rely on grandmothers like Bev Harris to show the country how broken and corrupt the voting system is? How much data do we need?

...

But we went ahead and used these machines anyway.

Now, when some of the most critical election results turn out to be statistically suspicious, there's not a damn thing we can do.

Sure, Bev Harris has valiantly filed a huge Freedom of Information Act and regular folks like you and me are outraged and angry. But it's too late: The evidence is gone!

...

It's like that rectangular bulge Bush had in his back during the debates. Pictures and videotapes of the obvious bulge are everywhere. A NASA photo expert even went so far as to risk his career to bring out the truth.

But all Bush has to do is sit there, straight faced, and say it was a badly tailored shirt. He might as well have said, "Who you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?"

...

I challenge anybody to give me ONE GOOD ARGUMENT why they think voting in America is not rigged.

My husband and I voted with the thinking that if enough people turned up, it would be harder to rig the numbers. Boy, were we suckered!

2. I'm past shock, outrage and anger
I feel like Alice who fell down the rabbit hole. reality doesn't make sense, and things aren't as they seem. Everyone goes about their business.

Is it them, or is it me? One of us is crazy.
