A protest concerning al leged unfair voting practices is scheduled for
noon today on the steps of the state Capitol building.

The gathering is one of many being organized today at state capitals
across the country and in Washington, D.C.

A group called 51 Capital March is organizing the protest to demand
complete investigations into reports of vote fraud and vote-count
manipulation.

Protesters also are expected to call on Electoral College electors to
withhold their votes for president until state election officials
"provide a complete, fair, accurate and verified manual vote recount."

The protest is supported by activist organizations such as Action
Speaks Portland and Democracy for America.
