>>>>>A strategy to pursue? And it is fun to boot.

Here is what I think some of our strategy should be in order to ensure Democrat party's disarray:

1. The DP activists are in a tizzy about the "election fraud". They are all tangled up in "statistical analysis" of the election results and exit polls that they think "proves" that there was fraud, are pushing recounts, etc. This is good and should be encouraged. Let them recount and "crunch numbers" - it is harmless, will not change anything, and keeps them concentrated on the past. Even better, it keeps them frustrated, because they are so sure that fraud happened, but cannot find any proof of it (since none exists).

2. Keep this "fraud" hysteria going. Infiltrate their forums, like democraticunderground.com and push the fraud theory. We already have some people flooding that forum with bogus "statistical analysis" posts. Support these people when you see them. Keep telling Democrats on these forums that there is no way that Bush could have won without fraud, that the exit polls were right, that mathematics show that there is a trillion to one chance that the election results were legitimate etc. The more their activists sink into the morass of despair over how they were "cheated out of the presidency" the less actual thinking and planning they will be doing for their political future.

3. There are some clear thinkers among the Democrats, even on du.com. They may turn the thinking towards future elections, political strategies, etc. Disrupt that. Accuse them of being "freepers" for daring to think there was no fraud. Promote the idea that anyone who does not believe in the "fraud" meme is a stooge of the Republicans. With enough attacks, this will either convert them into the "fraud" brigade, or drive them away - either way, a plus.

4. Longer term, the "fraud" advocates will not go away. These people are so married to that idea that nothing will convince them. Encourage that. Since no proof of fraud exists, they will go deep into conspiratorial theories. Encourage that. People who think that way will be discouraged from general political activism - hell, why vote if "they" will cheat you out of the vote anyway, right? With luck, we can extend this all the way to 2008 elections.

5. The hatred of Bush - this is very useful. Keep fanning it. Their hatred is what lost them these elections, and their hatred, if maintained, will extend their losing streak. Post inflammatory anti-Bush rhetoric. Start threads with topics like "How much do you hate Bush?" and "I hate him, I just hate him". Don't shrink from the task. The more they hate, the more they will lose.

So - go to it. Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed conspiracy theory, it may work wonders in despiriting the other camp.<<<<<<<<<<

2. In other words we don't need to change a thing. I liked the reply
from the one talking about family values like are almost Home land security chief who fathered a child and abandoned her and her mother. I agree on focusing on the future, making changes where necessary and also going ahead on investigating the fraud issues. You can do all those things.

Sounds like a lot of freepers on the board which is interesting if true. Must me a much more intellectually stimulating board than the freepers. They certainly aren't the brightest group.

4. I love strategy without deep thought
1. Not only we do statistical analysis (thank you tia), but the phone calls, lack of voting machines in certain areas and since everybody in this forum uses a computer (one way to tell a lie is when that person uses an extreme instance, hence everybody and nobody, just go ahead and burn me on this one), we know how easy a computer program is subject to manipulation.

2. "Fraud", hysteria, screw that, we are going to court!

3. I am willing to listen to somebody who disagrees with me, that does not mean I should feel threaten just because somebody has a different opinion on a subject. Hell, I may even learn something!

4. What an idiot, I still have not gotten over year 2000 vote. Mr. Gore is my President.

5. I do not hate Mr. Bush Jr. Heck I do not hate Mr. Bush Sr. who really soured after losing to Mr. Clinton in 1992. I think Mr. Bush Jr. and his minions where and are the worst group of people for this county and needed to go four years ago. Unfortunately the powers that be did not think so, but there is always time.

Who does this jerk think he is, Karl Rove? Let them think this and we can throw a few wrenches in their forum. See how they feel when they are eating crow. By the way was there not a Freeper meltdown last week or so with the new Freedom Bill? Drugging their children seemed to hit home!

5. The ignorant Bushler Gestapo at work...
Bush is going to wreck this country for decades to come and they will be the ones suffering the most. They are simply to ignorant to understand how things are interrelated. Their vote will come back to haunt them and their children.

6. Heheh, Bush hatred is hurting us?
Um, have they looked in the mirror lately? It is a tiny, tiny, minority on DU that actually "hates" Bush. Maybe even none. We just hate his policies, his decisions, and what he's doing to the country.

No, it is the freepers who wrote the book on personal hatred - their white-hot hatred of the Clintons goes on to this day!

12. HATRED is definitely their game-- and the FR post a double game
I believe the FR post was a double-game-- the simple reverse-psychology angle-- i.e. "If they think Mommy doesn't want 'em to challenge the vote, they'll stop."

at the "Frame the Debate" group, just in case they miss this one?

I'd say being alert to freeper signals rates almost right up there with framing the debate, wouldn't you? Kind of like the opposite sides of the same coin...

On edit: additional info
