Proud to stand up today at the Capital...grateful for DU Patriots
I shared this first with the patriots in Nebraska, but I feel it for all who participated today, no matter what the turnout was. I am so grateful for DU, for all of you who care about this issue and have been on it for weeks...or in some cases months. Thanks so much to you all.

I am so proud of those who showed up everywhere, but today, after our Texas protest was over we got news that 17 people showed up in Nebraska. 13? 17? Whatever, I thought you were very brave and I was so grateful that you went. Those few people in Nebraska who showed up, indicated that they care about their right to vote and to have that vote counted. I thought that 13 or 17 was better than none. I know it's discouraging that people here aren't in the streets in huge numbers, like the Ukraine, but today, you, and whoever else was there, stood up for yourselves. You have power. You did not give that power away. You did not cower and sulk about the state of our Democracy, you showed up. You made a sign and you showed up. Good for you. Good for us all. I hope that your numbers will multiply. Thanks for being a patriot and for rising up today.

3. Kickin' it for YOU, tex.
Thank you for all you do. You're as much of an inspiration as those 17 Nebraskans.

Hey Hey Ho Ho Electronic Voting has to go. Hey Hey Ho Ho Electronic Voting has to go.

This little guy captures the feeling from my first protest EVER today, one peaceful protest and already I am labeled a dissident with all the others who participated. Wow! It was great.

5. i was one of 5 people in VT
would have been nice to see more people, but the vast majority of the cars driving by waved and seemed to support us.

11. We had also had many supporters drive by, warms the heart it
does. How is Vermont? I have never been there. I would love to be there. I have this longing to see it.

Anyway, five is better than none and more importantly, it was important to you and you did something, you took action. That's how I see it. I would have liked 1,000 people or hell, 10,000 people...okay, I would have liked it to look like the Ukraine but it didn't. I did something. I made signs and I went. I had a great time. I hope you did too. Was it freezing there?

16. I would feel a bit guilty about it being 81F degrees here yesterday
But it's about 30 degrees colder today (with 30mph wind gusts), so forget the guilt and pass the firewood! ;)

Hard freeze tomorrow night, texpatriot2004. This weather is so bizarre, even for Texas.

17. Olympia, WA report
we had 60 people on Saturday and 150 on Sunday. Thank you everyone who showed up in the 40 degree weather to say "you stole my vote". For having little publicity and organizing, it was great! And thanks to all who helped keep people on topic and non-partisan, non-galactic world order.
