Why I'm worried about Ohio recount results |
|
Rove has been planning for this for years. To think he doesn't have a contingency plan for an Ohio recount is ridiculous.
The simplest answer is, they replaced the ballots. How can we know that the ballots they recount are the same ones as the originals?
If there is a recount and it confirms the current results it could be the death blow to the entire issue. It would make Arnebeck's lawsuit more difficult even though it's not related to the recount directly.
I think they should still go through with it but I hope they find something at least questionable.

2. That's why we must rely on a full investigation. |

With Kerry's support, that will happen.

they are now defending themslves, ye are now a disident... and when refered as such, replace it with the word patriot...
Do also kindly mention that thing about some tea in a certain harbor...
That said, even if they have planed for this for years, what they did not plan for was the level of resisntance they have gotten so far...
Trust me this has just begun...

11. A lot has happened between 2004 and 2000 |

True Kerry is not Gore, but I think had Gore known then what this cabal in the White House is capable of, I think he would have been less gracious. I hope Gore emerges again someday to serve in gov't.

5. I think you should consider worrying about.... |
|
....whether Bush should wear an Armani suit at his trial at The Hague and whether he should wear, perhaps, a Ralph Lauren suit at his trial here in the USA -- and, then the ties, the socks, the color shirt..... so, so many issues.
Peace.

think that although this is risky, it has more of a chance to go our way than theirs. The main reason for that is, why has Blackwell been stonewalling our attempts to recount, and stalling the effort as well. If they had a solid back up plan, would they be doing this? I'm sure that Rove's brain has thought up every possible direction this thing could take, and has decided on how to deal with all those scenarios. But that might be more like running the clock out, so that it gets thrown into the house, or using the power of the incumbent to steamroll the dissenting voices.

7. Rove, of course, is the smartest man alive. |
|
Smarter than all of us. Nothing he does ever goes wrong. It's useless to even attempt the thwart him. He's just that smart.
Geesh. When has a fascist government NOT failed?

DU to analyze all the numbers the minute they were posted, as well as people being able to google just about anything. Then email their results far and wide and compare notes virtually instantly. That's where he goofed up.
There are way more people on the internet now than there was just 4 years ago and google was around then either. He misunderestimated us. He was thinking the opposition would be top-down like it was with Gore, but it is bottom up with us drawing mucho attention to every "glitch" of every machine.
A number was even set up to report the glitches, disenfranchisement, etc. and all of it was stored on computers along with names and addys if needed for affidavits to use. We were ready for them this time.
THIS election was not a spectator sport. We were all in the game.

18. Just remember that Rove is the guy |
|
who reported an electronic bug was put in his office (that he had been in for the whole day) which only had 7 minutes of it's battery used. That was short-sighted of him...could be he still has that problem.
They should also be checking computers that were supposed to be stand alone to see if they had been networked and check the phone numbers out it they were networked.

20. The recount isn't the whole story anyway--ELECTION FRAUD is |
|
For example, when people punched their cards in Cuyahoga using the wrong ballots which were then counted in their own precinct NO recount will show that the intent of the voters was thwarted.
That's why the recount has had to be combined with the lawsuits about voter intimidation and other election fraud. That's why what Blackwell is doing is digging a deeper and deeper hole for him and Bush and Cheney.
