Conyers Hearing, Kerry Letter and Arnebeck Lawsuit - MSM - BLAST ALL!

NEW! BLASTER RELOADED!

(The next two posts contain the new letters used in the blaster.)
Without a doubt, this is the best opportunity we have had since election day! These three events have provided us with a “wedge” to try to increase public awareness of the election fraud issue.

We have an opportunity to force more media coverage; and we have more “mainstream” type facts to help convince and build public awareness (public hearings, Kerry asking questions, and a lawsuit being filed).

So we all need to take positive action now - today! If you’re in a big hurry, just send the first group of 98 contacts since it contains the biggest media (mostly TV).

---------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.independentmediasource.com/voteintegrity.htm

New and Improved!

Now you can use the National Media Blaster to reach the top 98 national media contacts with just one click of your email send button!

And, if you choose, you can reach a total of 391 with just three more clicks!

:kick: :nuke: <BLAST 'EM, then come back and kick it by posting "Done" Thanks > :kick: :nuke:

1. NEW LETTER TO MEDIA
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 09:29 AM by tommcintyre
Subject: Please Cover all the Breaking “Election Questions” Stories!

On Monday, at least three very important stories are going to break regarding potential 2004 Presidential election irregularities/fraud. How you handle these stories will be critical, both for the American people, and very possibly your organization. These stories are too big. It will be impossible to “keep a lid on them”. The news organizations that take the initiative, and report on them, will be far ahead of any that don’t.

Here are the stories:
1 - Representative John Conyers will be conducting a second forum on the Ohio election questions. This time it will be held on Monday, December 13th, in Columbus, Ohio.
Excerpt from the press advisory:
“Rep. John Conyers, Jr, and other Representatives along with Rev.
Jesse Jackson will be holding a congressional forum in Columbus concerning
new evidence of election irregularities and fraud in Ohio and to discuss
legislative and other responses to the problems.”

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=138255&mesg_id=138255
(more links below)

2 - COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Democrat John Kerry is asking county elections officials to allow his witnesses to visually inspect the 92,000 ballots cast in Ohio in which no vote for president was recorded, a Kerry lawyer said Sunday night.
The request is one of 11 items that Kerry is asking for as part of the recount that Ohio's 88 county boards of election will begin this week, according to a letter sent to the boards over the weekend.
<snip>
http://www.onnnews.com/Global/story.asp?S=2682767

Also, in an interview with Laura Flanders on Air America on Sunday, it was stated: “this investigation will involve enough votes "to possibly change the outcome." Although this is not the current position of the Kerry camp. (The interview should be available online on Monday.
http://www.airamericaradio.com/shows/lauraflanders/

3 – Alliance Co-Chair Cliff Arnebeck to File "Contest of Election" Lawsuit in Ohio Supreme Court will be filed at 9 am, Monday December 13th. Conyers is sending a letter requesting injunctive relief of the Ohio electors - ie that they either step aside or vote provisionally pending the outcome of the case. The case will be filed amid much media attention and should be a front page story in major newspapers across the country on Monday. It is now representing 40 Ohio citizens. http://www.thealliancefordemocracy.org/
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=137659

Will you be among the media that gives these stories the coverage they deserve?

2. NEW LETTER TO “TELL A FRIEND”
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 09:34 AM by tommcintyre
I’m emailing you to ask that you join me in urging our national media to cover the 2004 Presidential Election problems. These problems are so serious that they have put the results into question. At the request of 12 Congressmen, the GAO (the Congressional investigative department) has agreed to an unprecedented investigation of the 57,000 reported irregularities. THIS IS NOT A DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICAN OR INDEPENDENT ISSUE. It is an issue that must concern all voters. It calls into question the results of the 2004 election, and potentially jeopardizes our future elections. Please go to the url below and send the following letter to our national mainstream media.
http://www.independentmediasource.com/voteintegrity.htm

P.S. If you would like to know more about all this, please watch the 12-8-04 Conyers Forum online (link below).

You can also read short summaries (or the full articles) of the Under-reported stories, and see for yourself how the National Media has been neglecting this important story (link below).

Sincerely,

I managed to get the 4th box, but the 3rd box contains repeated addresses so yahoo calls it spam. And I'm going to be glued to the computer all day now clearing out my boxes! I hope enough people do this so that we can make a difference.

This is the expected behaviour for sendmail, and almost all mail software.
The address is converted to lowercase, and then checked for validity.

40. one odd looking address
My program requires a space after the comma, which I have done, but while doing so I noticed this weird address, and thought it could be a mistake. It could also be right, so I am asking you.

Most of the Reuters addresses end @reuters.com. This one:

patricia.wilson.reuters.com@reuters.net

looks funky, but I suppose it could be correct. Can you clarify this for me? Actually, when I send it that one will come back if it's wrong. So I should know soon enough.

Thanks for doing this!

Sent many test msgs to all, etc. (kinda like playing "whack a mole"). The only one that should be undeliverable is Lester Holt. I left him in since he's still listed with that addy on the MSNBC site.

Since "freedom of the press" grants special privledges under the Constitution, we should expect him to reciprocate and do his duty (keep us acurately informed).

75. Done. Just wrote a short letter, since they have the info:
What is this, a coup by the Bush administration?

Here the ranking Democratic House Judiciary Committee Member holds two hearings at the request of many disenfranchised voters, and no one even cares? What is with you guys?

As a news consumer, I want to see this covered. This is history in the making. You should be reporting it, investigating it, not pretending it is a joke, an outrage, or that it isn't happening.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXX

76. Tommy, you might like this!
I snipped off the part of the letter that addressed the media specifically, then I mailed it to a UAW regional office in Michigan which represents 150,000 UAW workers. Told them we might need their assistance in kicking some butt in Ohio.

In Michigan, they came out to a predominantly African American city and guarded the voters from the Rethugs who "watched" the polls. Also provided transportation.

Don't forget the unions! They are not even aware there is a problem!

77. Done! Updated letter...
I just got to this, so I updated the letter somewhat. Here's mine (latecomers like me, feel free...):

Subject: 2004 Election Fraud is very, very, very serious!

Body:

The story of 2004 Election Fraud is fundamental to American democracy, and includes the "privatization" of our election system (Bush supporters owning the secret, proprietary source code that runs the electronic vote tabulation machines all over the country--a condition made to order for fraud), overwhelming evidence of election fraud through control of electronic voting, severe vote suppression by Republican election officials against minority voters in Ohio and Florida, in plain violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and an on-going cover-up.

Today, at least three very important stories are breaking regarding 2004 Presidential election irregularities and election fraud. How you handle these and future stories is critically important for the American people and for your organization. Many Americans have lost faith in the U.S. mainstream news media, due to your failure to adequately cover the Bush administration's false justifications for the Iraq War, and many other important stories. You are strongly suspected of covering up Bush administration lies, corruption and deception.

The 2004 Election Fraud story is too big to “keep a lid on it.” If you do not give it the coverage it deserves, you will not only lose out as a news organizations, in competition with other news sources, including new alternative news sources on the Internet, but you will also be failing in your responsibilities as journalists and as Americans.

Here are the current stories:

1 - Representative John Conyers held a second forum on the Ohio election questions Monday, December 13th, in Columbus, Ohio concerning new evidence of election irregularities and fraud in Ohio. See CSPAN, 4:30 pm (est) Dec. 13. Many participants including other Congressional Representatives, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and key lawyers and witnesses in on-going election lawsuits.

(more links below)

2 - COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Democrat John Kerry has formally requested that county elections officials allow his witnesses to visually inspect the 92,000 ballots cast in Ohio in which no vote for president was recorded. The request is one of 11 items that Kerry is asking for as part of the recount that Ohio's 88 county boards of election will begin this week, according to a letter sent to the election boards over the weekend.

The investigation involves enough votes "to possibly change the outcome," according to an interview of lawsuit participants, with Laura Flanders on Air America on Sunday. (The interview should be available online on Monday.)

http://www.airamericaradio.com/shows/lauraflanders/

3 – Alliance for Democracy Co-Chair Cliff Arnebeck filed a "Contest of Election" Lawsuit in Ohio Supreme Court early on Monday December 13th. Congr. Conyers sent a letter requesting injunctive relief of the Ohio electors - i.e., that they either step aside or vote provisionally pending the outcome of the case.

Will you be among the media that gives these stories the coverage they deserve?
