Credit Cards & Electronic Votes
Would you use a credit card that never sent you a full statement?

Would you be happy if all you got every month from your CC was a notice that you owed $488.72?

I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong? Maybe you'd just say 'whatever', and dutifully pay your bill every month?

Cause that's the way most of the AMerryCanSumers seem to feel about electronic voting. "Whatever, no proof needed"

1. I was appauled the minute those damn things went up
the week before the election, no test runs, and no paper trails, hmmmm. It already had the makings of a rigged election. I feel like we're in "Gangs of New York" and all the repukes shoved their voters in 3 or 4 times and beat the hell out of ours.

2. Let's start a new credit card company!
Easy sell, right? Here's the campaign:

"This new 'No Questions asked' credit card has no interest. In fact, we will send money back to you! There's no catch, all you have to do is agree to pay the bill we send you every month. No questions asked!"

Shoot, we could rake in millions, just like the electronic voting machines!

4. I already do.
I have a BankOne credit card, and they stopped sending-out bills about a year ago to save money. I have to call them to find-out how much I owe so I know what to mail. If I want to know the charges, I have to hit 0 and usually wait 20+ minutes so I can find-out what the charges were from. I don't have a phone at home, so they've been a pain in th neck to deal with.
