New letter from MIchael Moore, sounds alot more like himself

Dear Friends,

It is no surprise that the Republicans are sore winners. They have spent the better part of the past month beating their chests, threatening to send to Siberia any Republican who doesn’t toe the line (poor Arlen Specter), and promising everything short of martial law if the Democrats don’t do what they are told.

What’s worse is to watch the pathetic sight of the DLC (the conservative, pro-corporate group of Democrats) apologizing for being Democrats and promising to “purge” the party of the likes of, well, all of US! Their comments are so hilarious and really not even worth recognizing but the media is paying so much attention to them, I thought it might be worth doing a little reality check.

1. Everyone should read Moore's letter. Explains the abuser/target dynamic..
..that will only stop when all honorable people stand up and fight back with passion, energy and strong voices.

And we will use the courts, activists, progressive media, dedicated elected officials and honorable Americans to take back the hard-fought ideals under which our country was founded.

We will fight all those in power who seek to undermine our people, those who, by their actions, incite hatred against our form of government, those who start illegal wars for profit, those who grind our relationship with the rest of the world into the dust, and those who compromise our hope for a better future for our children. We will fight.

Starting today. Starting RIGHT NOW. We will defy and remove from power those who abuse.

4. Actually, He doesn't seem to indicate either way, that I saw.
Am I missing something? It seemed mostly about the abuse thing.

3. The Thing That I Like About That Essay
is that it repudiates the kind of self-accusation that leads to a vicious cycle of defeat. You can see the Democratic leadership doing it every day.

MM's attitude is absolutely right. Sounds like he has survivied the election better than most of us.
