Now lets say W&Co gets away with this
fraudulent activity for whatever reason. What do you think might happen after that?

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

2. Well, let's say
that this has to go to Congress. Since Congress is Repug-dominated, they'll give the election to Bush. I wonder what will happen, like if the country will break apart over this.

I couldn't stomach another four years of hell, personally. And frankly, I don't want to move to Canada!

4. It could get very rough if politicians refuse to uphold the constitution.
Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 01:13 PM by jamboi
The Constitution is our minimum level of agreement that holds us together. If people do not follow the rule of law then naked force rules. If on the other hand we stick to the constitution it will be unpleasant, but hopefully we can try to give * a black eye over this and cripple his ability to act and then move to impeach him.

3. books, movies. subculture of informed citizens...
bestsellers and another movie by Moore which would bring the issue mainstream...but thats a while I'm assuming...then a kneejerk reaction by the conservatives...and it all ends with Moore getting deported to canada to join the thousands of kids fleeing the draft

7. Nothing will happen
Isn't that the very definition of "geting away with it"?

8. Well, I can tell you what happened last time.
If you recall, their first plan in 2000 was to use the FL legislature to carry out the coup. Luntz's polling told them that simply wouldn't fly. That soiling the black robes was the only thing that would get past the public. So they "got away with it."

But even that was only temporary. Polling on the bushkid not winning "fair and square" started at around 15%. It climbed steadily until it reached a strong plurality. Enough so that the "we won't forget" crowd felt strong enough to mount an impeachment effort against the Felonious Five http://www.democrats.com/view.cfm?id=4390.

Democrats.com had scheduled a press conference in DC to announce the initiative http://democrats.com/view.cfm?id=4623.

The press conference was scheduled for 9/11/01.

(cue the ominous-sounding music)

But this time the ground is prepared. It should take far less time to reach the specific gravity required.

Watch for the bushkid announcing another long vacation outside of DC.

.

9. Bushco may find the White House locks changed
when he returns from Crawford. There is no possiblity that he'll get away with it. At a minimum his legacy will be garbage, and most likely he'll be toppled even if the Jan 6th deadline comes and goes. It may take time, but this thing is too big to keep quiet. The movement grows a little every day. Now that our Reps and Senators are beginning to take it seriously, the equation is different. At some point, Repubs will have to decide: "Am I Pro-Fraud or Anti-Fraud?" Those who choose wrong will lose respect, and be trampled as the movement passes them by.

11. Systematic silencing of opponents will widen
the MSM, threatening with jail for contradicting with the WH
then the full control over media content
the courts
marginalizing of scientists and academics
brainwashing of students

I forgot. What country are we talking about?

:(
