...it was about the really big money involved ...

"John Shelk, senior vice president of governmental affairs for the National Mining Association, said the NMA supports Gibbons in an effort to get mining law reform within the next 18 months to two years. He said the window of opportunity is “not by accident” but is the result of efforts by the mining industry in the recent election."

Even more reclamation should be demanded. Mining fees should be increased. The 1872 Mining Act should be completely overturned.


That is the kind of mining law reform I want to see.
