Election fraud as related to our perceived powerlessness
Edited on Tue Dec-14-04 03:26 PM by texpatriot2004
It's time to take our power back!

Could it be that our complacency, our apathy, our resistance to believing in election fraud is related to our feelings of powerlessness? You know, that hopeless feeling of it happened but there's nothing we can do about it.

It's like we turned our power over to others. In theory at least, our government, our historical documents, give the power to the people. Why have we relinquished this power? Why are we so apathetic?

The talk on the other thread about resistance reminded me of Nelson Mandela's quote:

Our Deepest Fear
Is Not That We Are Inadequate
Our Deepest Fear
Is That We Are Powerful Beyond Measure
It Is Our Light, Not Our Darkness
That Most Frightens Us.

We Ask Ourselves, Who Am I To Be Brilliant,
Gorgeous, Talented And Fabulous
Actually, Who Are You Not To Be
You Are A Child Of God
Your Playing Small Doesn’t Serve The World.
There Is Nothing Enlightened About Shrinking
So That Other People
Won’t Feel Insecure Around You.

We Were Born To Make Manifest
The Glory Of God That Is Within Us.
It’s Not Just In Some Of Us; It’s In Everyone.
And When We Let Our Own Light Shine,
We Unconsciously Give Other People
Permission To Do The Same.
As We Are Liberated From Our Own Fear,
Our Presence Automatically Liberates Others.

Nelson Mandela – 1994 Inaugural speech
New Warrior - Philadelphia

1. Thank you for remembering this

and putting it on the forum.

The Bush Crime family and their cohorts have seemingly made the American public powerless.

You need to find a leader soon if you are going to survive the worst phase of American history - NOW!!!

3. Written by Marianne Williamson not Nelson Mandela
Fine thing for my first post - making a correction!
This quote is fantastic. It has been posted on my bulletin board at work and 'fridge at home for years. It was written by Marianne Williamson in her book, "A Return to Love" (Harper Collins, 1993) and quoted by Nelson Mandela, South Africa.

Give credit where it is due. Thanks.

8. Isn't it though. I know the darkness, it's familiar, the light...now
that can be scary. Still, I love the light.

16. Its not only powerlessness. Its injustice.
This isn't fair. We played the game by the rules but the other team didn't, and then we realized that they owned the referees and the umpires, so we never even had a chance. When we make appeals we are just going through the motions in a system which appears to be fair but it thoroughly corrupted.
