American wherewithall on this topic. It’s quacking like a duck but
it is us early-adopters who know it is a duck.

100% Opaque is the opposite of 100% transparent. The designers of
these systems at Diebold and ESS seemed to have gone to great
lengths to ensure the complexity and non-auditability of these
systems. These systems are 100% opaque! Why?

2. That's a great point.. They spent more time and money

making the machines non-auditable than they would have adding a freaking paper receipt. Why? The answer is crystal clear to me.. They were told to cheat, and they delivered.
