I'm surprised I haven't got any emails....
And I'm sure my friends will kill me...

But if I haven't got any about the recount, I bet noone has...

Here is the list of officers for OH:

Here is the list of officers for PA:

I'll let you know when I get one.

1. The only email is the email that I send
I haven't heard from even my most close Dem friends. They are slowly distancing themselves from me. The others have no clue what I'm talking about.

3. This is why we have to talk about it in calm, nonthreatening terms,
emphasizing the stuff that has already been covered by the MSM and not going into the far out stuff that we are following here. The KISS principle. That's how we reach the mainstream.

4. I try, I truly do. They want me to "move on"
I direct them to my site and even stand there and point out the mounting evidence in the most even, controlled voice possible. They just shake their heads and tell me that nothing will change the election and that I should focus on 2006 and 2008.

5. Answer to that one is, it would be irresponsible to move on if
so many people were disenfranchised. (You don't have to convicne them that *they* are one of "so many people" <g>

The thing is, it's hard to know a lot about a subject and then, do a good job of introducing it to someone who doesn't know anything. (Ask any teacher.)

You aren't obligated to give them all you know, or even to get them as concerned as you are. If you can get one person to read the list of 20 items, that's a good job in my book.

8. I don't expect results to change
I truly don't. However it's the principle, and as a computer professional MYSELF, I am adamant about secure counting and paper trails.

That is professional knowledge I have as DB administrator, web developer, computer programmer, network administrator and online marketer that outweighs the blackberry crowds' blissful ignorance of the state of these machines.

It's not even about fraud so much that just regular random auditing should be in place to guard against miscoding of ballots because of even printer's errors as occured here locally in 2003, which DID change the result of an outcome.

Also, it's about the count has been spoiled by improper conduct and handling.

But I know help would be there if needed and asked by the party.

I just haven't seen any requests from the party, the CBC.. Of course there's probably enough volunteers, right?

6. This is why I'm saying "ask us"
instead of trying to do any more from the inside.

Of course, I was on about Eisenhower's tight race and ES&S machines in our county and not particularly Ohio, but...

I'm not afraid to back up the CBC on a request for YD footsoldiers for anything. I'll be loud.

But right now I'm just spinning wheels.

If bodies are needed, there shouldn't be any hesitation to ask the YDs

2. Hey Rabid_Nerd
Do you think you could check out this website as well? They're Europeans trying to get the message out about the election to their media...but they also want to get it out to young people.

I have tried contacting those I know...maybe you could help w/ the lists? :)
