Question: Who wrote this?
Edited on Tue Dec-14-04 10:59 PM by fshrink
"Today, I formally ask for a full manual recount of the votes in the 2004 Presidential election. I ask that this recount be fully audited and supervised by citizens drawn at random from their local population, as are jurors.
There is enough factual evidence that there might have been various organized attempts at tampering, hacking into computerized systems, intimidations and manipulations to cast a long and doubtful shadow on the integrity of the popular electoral vote. As a result, who is elected has now become a moot point, for what is at stake is, certainly more than ever before, the credibility of the United States of America. The credibility of its national and international weight, of each and every of its decisions and interventions. The credibility of our very own soul."
Answer to the question: Nobody.

3. I tried to Google it, but it came up empty.
However, this website was on that Google screen: http://helpamericarecount.org/ I've seen most of them, but not that one. Looks interesting.

4. In the case of intimidation, purges and suppression (like long lines)
how do "recount" votes never cast?

In the case of BBV "hacking" how do you recount votes never recorded accurately or recast differently after the fact?

7. Which politically amounts
to nobody. So imagine what professional writers could have done in more than 2 minutes... And, yes, Blue eyed son, its incomplete and imperfect. That doesn't make it less needed. Or less true. Wouldn't we feel better, more empowered, with a voice, even like screamin' Dean's, saying something like that? I would. Even through 4 or 8 more years led by an idiot.
