Just after the 11/2 debacle. I am unconvinced that Kerry actually lost, but that is my belief based on a whole lot of things, including cognitive dissonance.
I have never EVER contributed the amount of money for any election cycle than I have this one. Most of my money went to Dean, Clark and Kerry in that order. I, fortunately did not heed the urge to contribute to BBV. I did donate to Moveon.org which I consider legitimate.
Given the number of appeals for contributions after the faux election, I, as a person who is suspicious by nature, equated them with credit insurance salespersons, selling you nothing for something. I, having had a long career in accounting and finance can scent the smell of self-enrichment a mile away. I think that in certain circumstances, we have been played, because we cared so much!
