how do you contact MoveOn.org?
I looked all over their website and can't find an email address or webform for general feedback, let alone a snail mail address, fax number, or phone number.

As someone suggested, it would be very good if MoveOn would contact their members and ask them to email Conyers. But I can't figure out how to bug MoveOn about this. Anyone have good contact info for them?

7. I searched long and hard and those are all I found. I've been working
with USVIP.org to try to penetrate their fortress. MoveOn isn't set up to be interactive appearently. I started a thread about trying to work with them weeks ago. So far no luck. Why don't you join with me and the others working on getting their ear and see what we can do?

3. I have been wondering this myself...
They sent out an email today about fighting Sinclair Broadcasting by writing to their sponsors. They have set up a fancy site to do it:

http://www.moveon.org/r?r=629 (sinclairaction.com)

I thought of writing the sponsors to tell them the news stations they sponsor had better start reporting on election fraud or else...but it wouldn't make much difference coming from one. Sometimes I wonder if there isn't something cagey going on with MoveOn. They are sending out mixed messages, first asking for money to support recount efforts, saying they have thousands of volunteers in the fields helping, then sending out messages that they are moving on.

I don't get it. And I find it very frustrating that it is so hard to have any sort of interaction with them.

By the way, I PM'd you about something.

5. I've always wondered the same...for an organization that has utilized the
web so effectively, you'd think they have a lot easier eay to get in touch with them...if you find out anything, let me know...

6. Gary, they are very hard to contact. Try posting it to their
Action Forum. I did earlier today. We should do it every 3-4 hours or so. The link for the forum is bottom right under "Speak Out" at their homepage.

That way, even if they don't send us an email, a bunch of people will see it.

8. I have contacted them dozens of times using the feedback forms
and finally just gave up. I know lots of people have contacted them trying to get them involved in this issue, but no response. They did say they were helping with the OH recount in that email they sent asking for money for the WA recount. But it would sure be great if we could get them on board with this. We need them to be telling their memebers to email their congress people and get them supporting Conyers and the other reps, and asking the senators particularly to get on board.

You might try peter.schurman@moveon.org

11. Yeah, they started a limp petition for Congress to investigate and
you and I both know what that means.

Help me post to the Action Forum. If they see more than 1 person doing it, that will make an impact. If not, people visiting the forum can act on their own.

No time to wait for indecision at this point.

12. but they haven't done anything in over a month on it
they are acting like Kerry on this issue - giving minimal appearance that they are interested and "working on it" but not really doing anything significant.

we need more than a month old petition now.

18. I was wondering what happened to MoveOn?
What we need is to get a message out to the public. They seemed to specialize in that during the campaign.

I would gladly give money to fund advertising or a Michael Moore project to let the public know what is going on NOW.

I supported MoveOn and canvassed for them, but I won't next time if they don't step up to the plate now on this issue.

They practically led the charge during the election and showed much more savy than the dems with regard to the media. . . where are they now?
