CONYERS IGNORED: There was a time when even the MINORITY
Edited on Wed Dec-15-04 08:51 PM by EMunster
...leader requested help from the FBI he'd get an immediate response. That's no longer the case. He mentioned that he hadn't heared from them after HIS OFFICE call them. I'm calling the FBI after finishing this. I encourage everyone to give them hell....

3. TOTALLY OURAGEOUS: FBI Ignores Conyers !!
The "Hoover" transvestites at the FBI have a lot of nerve to ignore any American citizen, in particular Congressman Conyers.

Has the forced sodomy and kinky sex they have suffered under J. Edgar Hoover totally demoralized and corrupted them ?

10. I agree. He speaks slowly but he is very sharp. Any other talk is b/s.
Or worse. And why would anyone want to say such a thing about him here? Or anywhere?

11. Even if that were true, the content of his compaint is serious.
By protocol, they should rule out that it is valid.

Looks like the new BushCo protocol is in effect. We are in big trouble if there is no way to challenge blatant wrongdoing.

25. Very strange, defamatory, and disdainful comment about a
Congressman who happens to be soft spoken, speaks slowly, and very intelligently about an issue of great importance to all Americans. Your lawyer friends need to show some respect.

12. Is it true that they did not respond? If so maybe it is time
to write the Senate Intelligence Commitee members.
But let's very first. There is no need to annoy the FBI when we need them.

23. He JUST contacted the FBI ... nothing works that fast ... even in
the private sector. I think it's way too soon to think the FBI isn't responding.

13. Pathetic isn't it. The FBI has no business ignoring any official
I will call the sons of Bs. I am sick of this sh** I am cussing like a sailor and I don't usually do that. After those ridiculous witch hunts that they did with Clinton, without finding anything, without the kind of information that is being presented now...it burns me up, and the money that they wasted on those witch hunts!!!!

Conyers should guide us on this. We need the FBI...if they get a bunch of angry mail, it will piss them off. More flys with honey and all that...

27. Conyers ignored not just by the FBI,
but by white liberal congress. How disgraceful for every liberal congressman who fails to understand the brevity of what has/is occurred/ing. I was born in 1963 with the fight for civil rights a backdrop to my childhood. We, as Dems, can disagree on many subjects, however, the fight for the right to vote and equality in our nation I do not believe are issues that separate us. How can ANY
Dem member of congress not be outraged beyond belief that what amounts to a poll tax has been reinstated??!! Were any of you as outraged as I was at the repubs intimidating people at the polls???
What I am saying is that although all of US are sure that fraud took place and are looking to expose it, voter intimidation and suppression took place openly all over the country. EVERY Democratic member of Congress should be standing behind Rep. Conyers, yelling from the top of their lungs.
I believe that we need to remind them of the history of our party, and what we stand for, and what we will not stand for.
If you will excuse me now, I have some hell raising to do with my Rep. from Oregon.

30. Well the FBI tends to check and double check things before
they come out in the open. I think they are probably working hard on this right now but don't want to say anything without serious consideration and investigation. Give those guys some credit and a little benefit of the doubt. Most of those guys are in law enforcement because they feel justice is so important that they are willing to put their lives on the line for it. If Conyers continues to get no response after another week or so then we should blast them!
