Two days in a row...no new developments
Why haven't new stories come forward?

It's either the quiet before the storm of the end of the storm.

1. It seems the GOP has done a good job covering their tracks
But I think we have some strong people on our side: Jesse Jackson and his son, John Conyers, Arnebeck, Fritakas and Cobb. I know they have seen what we've seen, and they will not give up. We also have many statisticians and a slight increase in media coverage to buoy us along.

I began to doubt they cheated when the reports started coming in that recounts were matching machine tallies, but I started thinking again about the Ukraine. Why were our exit polls off? And why in only the last two elections? And how did Bush win, when the independents broke for Kerry, and the fundies voted in the same numbers as 2000? Why is Blackwell acting so funny if he has nothing to hide? There is no possibility that they didn't cheat. We just don't know how. If anyone else starts getting discouraged, think about the things I just mentioned, and envision Karl Rove sitting on a white house sofa in his robe, eating cheese doodles while reminiscing about stealing the 2004 election.

2. Not true.
Yesterday they stopped that recount and called it "machine error." The full hand recount should have been triggered. This will develop.

4. Really? I thought that....
Conyers asking for FBI action and Kerry/Edwards2004 joining in the expanded lawsuit was KOOL! NYT and Wash.Post with stories, it IS happening. We have been engrossed in this since Nov. 2, but the public hasn't. It is taking awhile for it to sink in, have patience, just a little bit longer.

6. I can't get over these recounts.
I'm glad you mentioned the one that didn't match, I'd almost forgotten it.

5. Instant Results...
I have seen your posts the past few days, and see that you are looking for things to happen immediately, and get discouraged when they don't. Hey, I don't blame you, I am in the same boat. But we have to realize that the recounts weren't going magically prove fraud, but we need to look between the lines, and the things will become clearer. Things are happening, but it takes time. Reports of the Triad employee potentially tampering with the machines, Fairfield county doing everything they can not to have a full hand count, things are happening. Remember that we have Conyers, and he is doing allot for the cause. Only time will tell...

As another member posted, "Keep the faith".

7. Actually, I DO Blame The Opening Poster, It's Unrealistic To Expect
some big new every freaking day... unraelistic in the extreme... unless your goal is to demoralize people.

8. Indeed
What is a Broken Acorn, but the demise of a possibly great Oak Tree? <grin>

The results of the present day happenings can be one of two things: The Tree of Liberty grows mightier, or the Tree becomes more and more dis-eased, leading to ultimate decay.

10. BeFree, a broken acorn can be many things, but to me it
symbolizes the chance of regrowth and hope.

If it is planted properly back into the ground and in the right environment, it has the potential to grow and provide foundation and rooting for many things. Once it becomes a big oak tree, it can provide so much for the environment surrounding it.

I am always hopeful of change for the greater good.

11. Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
IS demoralization your goal? A whole freaking bunch of stuff has been happening - NY Times, Post stories; Conyers on the march; Where do you get off saying nothing is happening?

9. Thanks Sabra
I just feel like this thing should have been breaking major this week after Arnebeck's filing on Monday. His challenge is incredibly damning towards Blackwell/GOP and should be talked about all over the Spin Zones.

Yet still silence. I will still Keep the Faith :)

13. "Dewey Defeats Truman" required photo proof
He had to hold it up and have someone take a photo.
That constituted legal proof of the error in the media.
Then the media, the majority of the professors, the historians, the textbooks, and the almanacs, had to get on board.
Like when Nixon had that tape, and they played it in live hearings in Congress, and the police heard it, too...
Well, once the police heard it...
