Sad. Michael Moore had an election fraud database but he pulled it off
his site.

Here was the link

http://michaelmoore.com/electionwatch/index.php

He had it broken down by state.

I guess he has given up???

1. either that or
it's about to get really serious and someone asked him to look like he's not involved at all.

he's great i'm sure, but for something so serious, he might be the last name needed to be mentioned in any of this.

2. True. First he removed the link to it from his home page for a while it
was only available via the direct link that I posted. Now I see the direct link no longer works..

5. I keep hoping Faye that he's laying low and will be coming up with
video evidence. He did have film crews in Florida and in Ohio on election day.

13. And in an article posted shortly after the election -
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 12:30 PM by rockedthevoteinMA
He was in Ohio himself, filming, and was told he couldn't be there to make a movie - he said, this isn't a movie - it's evidence to be used in a court of law.

Lemme see if I can find that article...

on Edit: here's the link (it's a really good read!!)

http://www.clevescene.com/issues/2004-11-10/news/feature_7.html

"Are you making a movie about the election?" someone asks.

"The videotape exists as evidence," he says. "It's not to appear in your cineplex. It's to appear in a court of law!"

Moore leads a stumbling charge into the school to capture the long lines, but blocking his path is Michael Vu, Cuyahoga County's election director. He looks like a little boy in a grown-up suit, plucked from a college civics course and thrust into the role of Evil Bureaucrat in Mr. Moore Goes to Cleveland.

I'm sorry, no cameras, Vu says.

But Moore is armed with a recent court ruling. "We're not letting anyone tell us that our camera can't go somewhere," he says

14. Thank you for this! This is what I have been hoping for. When
he was on the Tonight Show I was originally shocked, angry, and then I counted to 10 (well maybe more) and started to contemplate what he was doing. First, why was he on the Tonight Show to begin with. Then for him a costume (suit and shave), and even though he said Bush won, it wasn't said with total conviction. So maybe my hopes will be realized, and as I said in a prior post, he'll ride into the courtroom like a knight in shining armor with video proof.

A woman can hope, can't she???

15. You're welcome OSO!
:hi:

I read this the day it came out...I keep going back to it - because it gives me hope that he really is working on this.

I don't think MM sold out. I don't think he ever will. The man has been fighting for the little guy, for what seems like his whole life. He has a spine - and he's very intelligent.

It bothers me that so many can bash MM - with all the work he's done to fight the corruption in gov't for all of us.

8.  I dunno. He keeps saying "Bush won"
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 12:08 PM by saracat
I thought he was being saracastic, but I don't think so. Even his letter references four more years. Sigh. Wonder why? I was hoping he would lend some fire power. I hope he isn't "over it".

10. Sheesh, even if Bush won, we still have a broken system.
Democracy is broken unless people have faith in the electoral system.

MM may have said that. But he didn't say *how* Bush won. ;-)

9. I heard reports three days ago that Moore was in Hollywood
schmoozing in an effort to get F911 up for Oscars. Can't remember the source--I want to say NPR though. I hope it's not true.

11. This is probably the reason
self-glory may be more important to him than helping in the efforts to expose fraud.
