1. Look for the goose-stepping troops...
This will be like the Soviet May-Day parades of old.

23. Yeah, Heil chimpy!
He bleeds us dry to pay for the security no other President in history has ever needed this much of. How can the freeper dunces reconcile this with "he's a regular guy" this is sickening. I'm getting closer and closer to gettin' out of dodge. I'm starting to think anyone that wants to survive this regime intact HAS to leave this country!

29. bush_is_whacko, I'm with ya on that one. I don't care if people call me a
coward or not. But, I don't have the money anyway. Been unemployed for over two years now. Canada would be my first choice though.

33. I'm a sun worshiper
I'm thinking Canada might be a little cold for me. But, I am considering it. I know all about the money thing. My hubby has taken a 30% pay cut in the last 4 years and I lost my job in Aug. I did find another, but it doesn't pay all that well. If we sold our house and cashed out all our retirement plans and savings, we could probably do it, but it would mean leaving my entire extended family behind. I'm very conflicted!

34. My whole family is infested with Repuketards and adore the Chimp!
I'm the only lone Dem in my family. Mother, father, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. My twin is the only one who is an Independent (and who is help feeding me and giving me shelter through this very hard time). I'm through fighting these people about the Chimp. I'd be willing to leave for a little while, and hopefully when that Chimp takes a fall and we regain our country back, I could possibly want to make amends with them. I want to leave now just for my own sanity and for me and my family to "go to our corners for a while". :(

42. Hear, hear! Our very worst enemy! These people don't want to belive
that Smirking Chimp and his PNAC cabal are fascists and they are trying to set up a dictatorship in this country. Hell, some are even willing to give up some liberties, not realizing that that is not what being American is all about. It's about bravery and not letting the terrorists win. Of course, I think this War on Terror is fake and is part of the PNAC plan all along. I'm still praying to God each night to let the truth come out about 9/11 and these neocons' involvement. I think this will be the only thing to wake up these sheeple and realize just who these neocons are and what else they have in store for us over the next four years.

28. afraid * afraid * afraid *
Old proverb from somewhere -- "The guilty flee when no one pursueth."

Have no idea where that came from. Maybe he can feel the ghosts of all those dead soldiers surrounding him, plus the air being rancid with the disapproval of all the cheated voters.

The spot he's in cannot be a happy spot. And there's no way to escape fear.

Their biggest worry is that some Dem might actually hit the presidential limo with a rotten egg, and that it gets caught on t.v. Can you imagine a president being received like this two terms in a row by his own people? It's unheard of in my lifetime!

46. O What Is That Sound
O What Is That Sound

O what is that sound which so thrills the ear
Down in the valley drumming, drumming?
Only the scarlet soldiers, dear,
The soldiers coming.

O what is that light I see flashing so clear
Over the distance brightly, brightly?
Only the sun on their weapons, dear,
As they step lightly.

O what are they doing with all that gear,
What are they doing this morning, this morning?
Only their usual manoeuvres, dear.
Or perhaps a warning.

O why have they left the road down there,
Why are they suddenly wheeling, wheeling?
Perhaps a change in their orders, dear.
Why are you kneeling?

O haven't they stopped for the doctor's care,
Haven't they reined their horses, their horses?
Why, they are none of them wounded, dear.
None of these forces.

O is it the parson they want, with white hair,
Is it the parson, is it, is it?
No, they are passing his gateway, dear,
Without a visit.

O it must be the farmer who lives so near.
It must be the farmer so cunning, so cunning?
They have passed the farmyard already, dear,
And now they are running.

O where are you going? Stay with me here!
Were the vows you swore deceiving, deceiving?
No, I promised to love you, dear,
But I must be leaving.

O it's broken the lock and splintered the door,
O it's the gate where they're turning, turning;
Their boots are heavy on the floor
And their eyes are burning.

-- W. H. Auden
