Why is anyone involved in the Ohio recount hard up for $$??
What is the deal here? Dem party has tons of cash lying around, and yet we are hit up daily for contributions dealing with the Ohio recount. Why is this?

1. It's because they aren't paying for the recount
The Greens and Libertarian parties are.

As far as I know, there hasn't been any money donated to the Ohio recount efforts by the Democratic party (other than from the rank and file).

Promising to "count every vote" without at least kicking up with $$ is meaningless.....

4. Cobb speaks about Kerry
Meanwhile, Cobb observed, Kerry has not contributed “a single dime.”

“John Kerry is trying to minimize and undermine and delegitmize the recount,” Cobb asserted.

6. This is an outrage.
The recount should not be treated like some amateur night frolic.

Why should any of this recount be under resourced like this? Kerry's pledge to "count every vote" means squat without $$ to back it up.
