challenging day

With all the ups and downs of reports (and non-reports)on the election fraud, I find my emotions zinging all over the place.
Yesterday, a friend sent me the following link to a video, which did much to renew my spirit and determination.
Although not specifically about the 2004 election, it is a reminder of the importance of persevering in our fight for our rights.
Since I'm new here, this may have been posted in the past. If so, apologies for the repost.
Oh, I played the large one and found that I had to let it load/buffer completely for it to play without stuttering.
I hope it helps others in the way it has me. :-)

It was the combo of the silence on the media's part and the lashing out at Kerry on the board here earlier that got to me.
Shouldn't have let myself ride on that roller coaster.
That's part of the reason the link from my friend helped.
It reminded me that people have gone through similar struggles before and with their courage, persistence and sometimes doggone stubbornness about never giving up have come out the other side and triumphed.
I do believe we can as well.

I'm crying right now. Watched it twice. I'm ready to battle for America, but what else does the maker of this film want us to do?

Loved these lines:

"I will not attempt to glide over the disaster that was this election."

"The illusion of hope in this last year has been mercilessly stripped away."

"I ain't over yet folks...Cry a few tears...then get back to work...the battle for America has begun."

I don't even know who made this (maybe someone on the board does?), so I can't speak for him, but I know that through my tears I felt my connection to past freedom fighters and, yes, my courage to keep fighting renew.
