Devil's advocate questions
It seems like the most incriminating evidence so far is Clint Curtis and Ms. Eaton.

Regarding Curtis, I don't see how it's related to this election or Ohio. What he says may be true, but it was FL '02, right? How does it play into Arnebeck contesting the Ohio results? I don't see him playing a role, unless Arnebeck expands his suit.

Regarding Eaton -- what if it's just true, what the Triad rep said, that they had to do something to the machines to make them only count the presidential votes. And what if he's just an idiot, and he suggested putting the number up on the wall or in a cheet sheat, simply because he thought it would be a pain in the ass to hand count the whole county? (he was motivated by laziness, not politics).

1. According to the Ohio law
they aren't supposed to mess with voting equipment at all. Triad and apparently so has Diebold.

2. OK, if it was just a stupid mistake
OK, if it was just a stupid mistake on the part of Mike from Triad, where does that lead? There is no fraud involved, only "illegal action". So they put mike in jail?

I guess the effect it could have is forcing a hand recount for a larger area. As prescribed in the Kerry letter to Blackwell. But i'm guessing Blackwell will just ignore the letter, forcing Kerry lawyers to seek a court-ordered injunction for a hand recount. Which I guess would have to be done in the Ohio Supreme Court. At which point it would be time for all these 1,700 lawyers to step to the plate.
