3. to be quite honest, I've never understood the staying power of

those two as a married couple . . . I've always thought their marriage was one of monetary convenience, meaning that they were two talking-heads w/ a gimmick. And the gimmick was that they were at opposite ends of the political spectrum, loud-mouthed, yet married!

Marshallplan may be right, I don't know. I've never understood how his lively self could be with someone so tense. But this made me laugh - thing is, I have such a smile on my face tonight, everything is making me giddy!
