act of trying to steal mine right out of the front yard.

After spending 15 hours being a Vote Protector in the poll fighting the presiding judge all day, I was beat and ready to come home and relax. As I turned down my street, there was an SUV sitting in the street in front of my house. It was 10:30 or 11:00 PM. My wife was sitting in the house and they had the guts to steal the campaign signs from my yard.
I quickly realize I just witnessed the crime, so I pulled my car around the front of the truck and blocked the road, both directions. Busy street too.
I got out of my car and started to aproach the SOB (He had repube bumper stickers all over the truck). He started to back up but could not because of traffic.
I asked him politly at first, what he thought he was doing taking personal property from my yard.
He tried to tell me he was collecting signs for the campaigns. I said what campaing, and he tried to tell me the Kerry/Edwards campaign. I said, funny, I work for the Kerry/Edwards campagin (volunteer) and I didn't think they called the republicans to collect signs that belonged to Democrats.
I forced him to fork over all his Kerry/Edward signs.
Then I told him to get his ass out of town becaus I was calling the police. There was quite an audiance by then.
It was a matter of principle, Fucking Theives, they stole election signs all season and then they stole the election.

10. Sign stealing was rampant in our town

as in we had over 150 signs in our small town taken, also lost 3 of the 4x8 signs.

Last night a friend that volunteered with me had 30 K/E signs dumped in his yard, all with big black x's painted on them. They also got our 2 remaining 4x8 signs and painted 'loser' all over them.

I hate, really and truly hate, these people.
