Recount the votes in states we won? Maybe we should.
I mentioned this in another thread earlier and thought maybe it should have it's own thread for others to bounce off ideas on.

The general idea I am putting forward:

Fraud at a small level. Kerry & others win in a state, but * closed in. Next Time, 2006 (and maybe 5) the rethugs get a few more percent. And so on until 2008 - the stats will look like a slow gain on the dems over years, most (if not all of it) fraud. But it will be easier to sell bigger and bigger gains over time.

We should do this even in California - some counties may have been close, and over a few years more rethugs will slowly gain office. While our attention has been on the close red states, I am hoping someone starts looking hard at blue states and demanding recounts there - not just this year, but next year and year after.

We win? We recount. And why not recount, let the American people know that something as important as their vote will count - and that we will count all votes twice to make sure. Build it into state budgets as a mandate for each election. Vote Once, Count Twice can be the motto.

One More Thing I have suggested at other times - Let's PUSH HARD to get the house and senate to vote on bills using Diebold (et al) machines. As I joked in another thread - ones made by two gay guys from San Francisco who are professed liberals - with no paper trail to confirm the vote. You touch the screen and it votes for you. Let's see how fast those bastards wake up :)
