2. I would like data sources or stats help:
What I need:

Sources (all available) of articles speaking about machines, mostly touch screens, having a default selection of a certain candidate.

2000 and 2004 data or analysis of data for comparing punch card technology and redcution of undervotes with new tabulation. Comparision of the undervote reduction to bush margin deviation from exit poll predictions.

I anticipate a correlation. I expect that default selections in tabulators caused some machines to count undervotes as bush votes.

6. Programmer who understands tabulation of punch cards...
Douglas Jones is the guy who is already working with the lawyers/recount team.
<http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/>

This page has his voting and elections links
<http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/voting/>

This is general stuff about punchcards
<http://www.cs.uiowa.edu/~jones/voting/pictures/#punchcard>

I emailed him a few weeks back and he said that the easiest way to cheat with a punch card system is to show one order of candidates on the label (Bush = hole 1; Kerry = hole 2) and to have the software count the opposite (Hole 1 = Kerry; Hole 2 = Bush). You would only do this vote swap in precincts in which you were sure your candidate would loose.

I don't think he covers anything on his site about decaying code, programs in central tabulators that can flip votes from one candidate to another, or computers with internal modems that can be contacted using remote cell phone technology. As far as I understand it the card readers report data from each card directly to the tabulator (a PC) -- so all of the above are possibilities for hacking the vote in punch card counties.

11. Actually we are hoping to have some programmers look at some
questions on a forum and put into writing why we believe this programmer was attempting to do questionable things before we submit this material to Doug Jones because the forum questions are numerous and we cannot expect him to wade through all this material on a hunch.

This would be Visual FoxPro BTW.

14. My husband can help...
...if you still need programmers. I can't PM yet, I don't think, so I'm posting this here. He is very experienced in Visual FoxPro and is willing to take a look at whatever code or information you would like.

5. Hey mom cat?
We should set up a website with download PDF's

IE

If we don't

Do we have a brochure, which show s some of the wonderful imagery of Mr Knapp and others, ("I see I remember I hearI Forget") Perhaps one with simple historical narration of events from Nov.2 staing from Zogby's Exit Polling and I smell a rat Article Through today? today?

We should also have a categorical link site where people could go to get quickly to research all ready done. Two emphasis, one technical, one emotional.

I'd make a one pager two-sided printing 11X17 and shorter version for 8.5 by 11 tri-fold
both would need to mailable.

It should have consistent branding, and we would want to make it linkable from other sights. I would lean to the conservative on the design as this will go to a broad spectrum of people.

8. I'm not mom cat, but you have good ideas.
I wonder if the DU Demopedia would work for the web site. I have registered but have not taken the time to get acquainted with it. I don't think it is accessible to non-DU registrants, however.

10. Go for it.. I think that you could get this going. I am no designer, but
we have lots of good ones at DU, so get the ball rolling. I don't know if we need anothet website.. It seems that offsite efforts have languished. If we keep things together, under the action umbrella, I think it will spark more interaction. You just gave me an idea.. How about a FRAUD ACTION - BE THE MEDIA thread? I think that I will do it.
