Well I was in Warren County Ohio today...
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 06:51 PM by God_bush_n_cheney
Something is rotten there including the lockdown. We were told yesterday there was a meeting between the county commissioners and Homeland Gestapo today but no one at the county office knew anything about it. Does anyone know anything about this meeting? Did anyone attend? Did it happen? Also, does anyone have the absentee numbers from there? I need precinct by precinct data. The Supervisor of Elections does not have it by precinct breakdown. This seems odd...I looked at the web site but I could not find it. Perhaps I am bleary eyed from looking at poll books all day long. Harmony Guy...if you are there...please respond. If anyone has this data you do.

Andy

3. Ugh. I feel for you guys there in the trenches.
This sounds most assuredly like bad news.

I don't know where to find absentee numbers...most absentee numbers have been kept off the election websites, it seems.

4. Please update me on anything re: this, as I'm
posting a story on my website, the George Bush-Undercurrents website, at http://home.att.net/~m.standridge
critiquing and investigating MSM coverage of the Warren County incident.
I think it's been the most glossed over and under-reported incident of the 2004 election. Professor Phillips there in OH now has a post at his Site and at Free Press.org about Warren County and other SW OH counties. I think it's there that we may be most likely to "catch" Bush et al at something, because the SW stuff would have been more quickly thrown together, hence more haphazardly done.
That's because Kerry didn't pick Edwards as VP until later in the campaign. It was already known that Ohio would be Battleground (capital B), but Bush was only prepared ahead, apparently, with the big city things, inner city.
With Edwards on the ticket, SW OH ("culturally southern"), became more competitive, and what could be done by the GOP machine in the other areas MIGHT not have been enough, so they'd have had to throw something together.
Hence, "terrorism threat" in Warren County (?).
And, because it was thrown together, evidence might be findable, maybe that wouldn't be as hard to find or prove, as other things done in OH in other areas.
I can't believe OH doesn't have some MSM reporters who'd go after this. Even a paper intimidated by GOP advertisers, or shareholders--surely a story's a story!
I'm trying to put some pressure on.

17. You're asking for a breakdown of the absentee votes by precinct?

If yes, you'll probably have a tough time. I've been trying to get my hands around precinct level absentee/early votes for Broward, FL for weeks now. (Part time, though...) See my new thread, specifically item 2):

I didn't read the whole article, nor understand what the numbers represent, but just seeing absentee numbers, maybe it can help?

Edit:

Another from http://www.miamedia.com/news/2004-12-09.more.votes.than.voters.html   See contact info at bottom of article by Dr. Werner Lange.

20. One last thing. . .
Richard Hayes Phillips, Ph.D. might have what you need, since he's done some extensive number crunching, not to mention giving his sworn affidavit.

Here's his website, with his email address:
http://web.northnet.org/minstrel/website.htm

I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help.

21. You paged me? Here's what I've got.....
Andy - I haven't done any significant analysis of Warren County other than results-over-time, but DO have the following files from their site:
Dated as at 11/03/04 01:43 AM - canvass_results_publish_dynamic.htm
Dated as at 11/15/04 12:52 PM - canvass_results_publish_dynamic.htm
Dated as at 11/15/04 12:52 PM - canvass_results_publish.htm
Dated as at 11/15/04 12:56 PM OFFICIAL CUMULATIVE REPORT
Dated as at 10/18/04 Warren County Voter Summary Report of Voters by Precinct/Split Status A I for all County Voters

In addition, from the Ohio SoS site I have readings taken at various times on election night and on subsequent days.

The first reading that showed numbers was N02-2200cst (They were one of the LAST counties to make their first report) Changes in numbers were seen in readings taken
N02-2235cst, N02-2315cst, N02-2340cst, N03-0035cst, N03-0115cst, N17-0910cst, D12-1201cst.
On Nov 17th, the SoS site appeared to be reset to 0 for all counties, and my last reading was at N23-1715cst until a subsequent one at D12-1201cst. Some, but not all, counties continued reporting updates even after this reset. Warren County appears to have not continued updates.

A quick glance over the Warren County site data indicates that their final numbers appear to have been arrived at N15 at 12:56pm but for whatever reason these numbers appear to have NOT been reported to the SoS until sometime AFTER N23. At the very least, IF the numbers were reported, they were NOT displayed on the SoS site.

In addition, although only 1465 provisional ballots were issued, sometime after Nov 15 at 2230cst, 2168 votes were added to the Presidential race totals.

I'll bundle up these files into a zip and email them to you tonight. Shout if you need anything additional.

HG ;)

A republican. He was hostile and very caustic. Said he "did not know Ohio election law". Now tell me. What Director of Elections does not know the law?

This one and Warren are troubling and will need a further look.

28. Absentee & Other
I don't have the counts -- they were not presented separately in the election night tallies. My belief is that they are simply added to the precinct totals -- there were 2,168 votes added between election night and the certified final total -- bringing total votes cast to 94,419 -- an unbelievable turnout rate of 75.4%. Total votes added were: Badnarik 3 Bush 1,512 Cobb 3 Kerry 644 Peroutka 5 Schriner 1.

I can supply you with the precinct totals from election night by email.

If you have access to the poll books, are you able to make copies of them? Are you in contact with the local democratic party (or other entity) which can obtain an electronic copy of the voter list? I could do some pretty cool stuff with this.

I am convinced of outright ballot box stuffing here -- and suspect that the number of signatures will not match votes cast or that there will be hundreds (if not thousands) of identical signatures on absentee ballot requests.

Best wishes:pals:
