I just turned to it and caught her discussing how much she likes blogging and mentioning some of her favorite blogs. Anybody catch the lead in to it?

Oh yea....the rest of it sounded kind of like the teacher from Charlie Brown.....wah...wah....wah, whaaah, whaaah, waaaaaaah.

and she couldn't have soft-balled it more. Mrs. Cheney was (is?) not extremely well-spoken. Campbell didn't take any of the good openings to actually question her, just let her blather on about how wonderful the conservative cause is and how obvious it is that the country sees it that way, too, based on the recent vote...blah blah blah.

All in all, I wanted to puke. And I have a pretty strong stomach.

16. it's funny how the press kowtows to people like her. set them up

though they're some sort of ruling class we should all admire.

yet bush is the alcoholic wastrel of an overly inbred patrician family. cheney is a career bureaucrat. laura bush is a schoolteacher -- probably the only one of the bunch who ever worked a day in her life. and lynne cheney is a perpetual student who married well.

no one i consider in a position to be telling me what's right and what's wrong with this country and its people.

sorry. i just don't have the respect for them they believe i should have.
