Malloy is wrong - it's not JUST the machines
It's who controls the state houses. We didn't just lose to Diebold. We lost to repuke governors and secretaries of states.

1. Yes you're right.
I am finding myself feeling better listening to him. He mirrors my thoughts.

2. i hear what you are saying.
true democratic or (gulp) an honest republican controlled state govt could demand that the state uses an auditable system. it isnt the machines themselves of course, its the implementation. the systems were designed with this in mind. starts with hagel in nebraska.....gore in 2000....max cleland and rob georgia...kerry 04. weve been machine-fucked again.

Bev, i love you for trying, we keep fighting because there is no alternative.

3. No Malloy isn't wrong
it is implied that we have to control whatever entity that can get rid of these machines - whether it is the state house or SOS boards of elections or whatever - he is saying we need to remove the cancer of these companies/machines - not how to do it - but we sure need to figure that out.

5. You got it baby,
We need to make sure the voting process is fair and must target those states election officials we believe are not fair arbiters. CA had March Fong Eu for YEARS. All secretaries of state should be that good. I didn't even know her political affiliation and NEVER questioned that my vote was counted.

6. We lost Iowa and New Mexico as well
Two states with popular Democratic governors.

But I wouldn't want to get in the way of any good conspiracy theories here.

7. Can we recall any governors in "red states"?
Can we set any of them up? Prostitutes? Drugs? Whatever it takes!
