So, where is Madsen??? and what becomes of his writings? |
|
The articles that Madsen put out and the research he was doing, will it amount to anything???
I haven't seen any posts re: him lately....Does anyone have the scoop?

1. Wondering about the same thing... |
|
Could the lack of info be due to our losing our previous liason to Madsen ?

3. i think what happened was |
|
in my personal opinion - his story was bs to begin with and was meant to distract us from what we need to focus on (same goes for the CyberNET bs).
Fortunately, we didn't give in and the story has died. :D

11. Not true. Arnebeck thinks Madsen is credible. |
|
A friend of mine has been exchanging e-mails with Arnebeck and that's what he told her recently. I'm not sure when the last time is that Arnebeck spoke with Madsen, but he may be working behind the scenes in Ohio at this point.

6. Was wondering about that too the other day...so googled him... |
|
Here you'll find him: http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/111104_arctic_meltdown.shtmlSeems off the trail of the elections. Maybe he found his "Big Story" went nowhere and slouched off. In the abstract I think he's right. It's was the details that pulled the rug out from under him. Don't know. His disappearance says something. If nothing else, His googleNews search captures an interesting arch... http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/111104_arctic_meltdown.shtml

7. i'll say one thing though |
|
Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 09:17 PM by Faye
that his story did open up my mind to realize the 'padding' around the country that would give Bush his 'mandate'. I do believe that is what happened, and for some reason never thought of it until Madsen mentioned it. But that's about it

8. I think it was the check turning out to be bogus that messed him up |
|
I don't think he himself meant to mislead, but when much of his story's credibility was anchored to the check, and it turned out to be fake, he lost face with people like Olbermann and some here.
He said that even a bogus check could mean he was on the right track, but perhaps that trail has gone cold now.

10. But y'all are forgetting that Madsen was the first |
|
...to bring up Clint Curtis and the affidavit. I think we've forgotten about that since the actual affidavit was published (via Brad Blog) the day after Madsen's article. The affidavit was compelling and easier to follow than the myriad of information presented by Madsen. But I for one hope we hear from him again.

13. Hmm... I'm wondering... |
|
You say he "seems" to be off the election trail. Maybe that's just it, to keep certain problems from coming up. When that first story broke, so many people were worried about Madsen's safety. Perhaps he's just laying low, but still investigating.

15. Madsen is working on a big follow up |
|
I have been communicating with several researchers who have very recently started working with Madsen and his team on this votergate issue, and believe me when I tell you it covers a LOT of territory. Madsen has his work cut out for him, so give him some time to work on it. We have a mountain of evidence at our disposal and are currently in the process of compiling everything into a comprehensive PDF for mainstream dispersal. The biggest problem we have been having is as soon as it was discovered how much we were uncovering, those involved have been actively purging the internet of our sources. Luckily, most of it has been backed up and will be included along with the PDF.
For those of you interested, I have a copy of a letter sent to Arnebeck yesterday that gives a general introduction to the main people involved as well as evidence that not only shows that Ohio Supreme Court Justice Moyer and senator Dewine were elected fraudulantly, but they were involved with the primary group responsible for rigging the election. I am attempting to get in contact with Will Pitt or any other legitimate media source that could analyze the information we have to help credit/discredit aspects of it to build a stronger case and clearer picture of the truth. For those interested, email me at ja_investigate@earthlink.net and I'll send you a copy of the letter sent to Arnebeck.

18. I eagerly wait for Madsen's follow-up work . . . |
|
I wish there were more investigative journalists like him, willing to put their lives on the line for the truth. This is real journalism and the stakes are high. I get this feeling that Keith Olbermann just might have to follow through and pay Madsen's way when he receives his Pulitzer. Madsen has my complete respect.
He may not get it exact all of the time, but as he admitted he is doing a lifetime of research in a very short amount of time.
I don't know what all happened with Jamboi, and I don't want to speculate, but I enjoyed his service as a messenger between Madsen and DU.
But now, thanks to you for updating us on what is happening with Madsen behind the scenes.

22. jamboi is publishing stuff about Madsen at jamboi.dailykos.com |
|
You may need to register in order to see him get ripped to shreds by the Kos team, but he is incredibly motivated and I'm sure he will come out of it a much better blogger. As for Madsen's latest story, I think there's some new info today....

the story about the fake check ruined his credibility.
but we can't forget he introduced Clint Curtis to most of us.
I think he just got Roved with the check just like Rather got Roved with his docs.
