All I want for Christmas is John Kerry for President!
My husband went to the upscale mall in our town last night for some Christmas shopping. The place was mobbed with people, materialism going out of style, buying mountains of useless stuff probably made overseas.
What is wrong in with the people in this country! No body seems to care that people are dying in Iraq, the country on the wrong track, people are losing their jobs, children are going hungry, our election process is a joke and so on and so on!
He came home disgusted! and couldn't bring himself to buy anything. and you know what! I have a house, a job a family, I don't need anything for Christmas! All I want for Christmas is John Kerry for President!

3. I've been saying that for a while.
My poor children and husband know I want nothing else.

I'm not a woman who is easy to please. ;)

4. The sad thing is
those who don't have much, the sick, the old, the unemployed - also stood in line for 10-12-14 hours to vote for him... he doesn't know what he had going and is choosing not to fight for because Rush Limbaugh is going to call him a sore loser

7. I agree he conceded too soon...
I was mad at first because so many of us like you mentioned stood in line for hours, but there are signs that he is fighting though.

9. I'm with you there!
I'd gladly give up gifts for Christmas and Birthday for the rest of my life if John Kerry was inaugurated on Jan 20.

10. Yes! I'd give up my home and all I own and live in a hovel packed...
..with DUers to see that!

'course I wouldn't have to 'cause the economy would boom and there would be peace and good will to all men and women of every race, religion and sexual orientation. Peace in Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel and Palestine and Africa. Dogs and cats living together in harmony....I have to get some sleep...

Come on Kerry! Get to work so I can get back to MY real job - I haven't got any decent work done since November 3rd.

17. Focusing on the election fraud issue will do that to a person!
Sadly, I feel the same. I haven't wanted to go out in public at all, but today I'm off to the coffee/book store w/ my * bashing books in hand and my count the vote bookmarks in pocket, to place inconspicuously inside as many books as I can manage to open! Kerry Christmas to all, and to all a good fight!

15. absolutely!
Kerry sure does have that "presidential" quality. He did such a WONDERFUL job in the debates and all that, I'm so impressed by him... so intelligent and sincerely caring... a real humanitarian. He would be one of the GREAT one's, I'm sure, if he makes the presidency! If not this time around, I sure hope he runs in 2008.

16. I bought my wife a roll of stamps and a box of chocolate cookies
I passed up the Walmart crap this time around. Junior got an iPod and as many things as I could come up with that weren't made in China.

The entire premise of this flawed right wing agenda is that the economic health of America is promoted by tax breaks to the rich. They have botched this before and they're doing it again, while arguing that growth is good and people are still spending money.

Both in fact are true but no indication whatsoever of the economic health of this country.

Growth is at the expense of America jobs, America manufacturing base, and cheap foreign labor.

The fact that Americans are still buying is a result of a culture of greed that has formed in this country coupled with REALLY POOR consumer knowledge about what they are buying. In general, we spend way too much on crap.

No democracy can exist and evolve unless it's base of population are smart buyers. Also, the PEOPLE have to have some control over the PROVIDERS. Thanks to the Repukes, the providers are in charge. In many cases now, smart shopping won't even affect the end equation because the game is rigged to begin with.

When the middle class stops spending out of their home eq loans, and stops borrowing off the low interest rates, spending is going to come crashing down. It's just a matter of time.

18. Well it isn't happening folks!
The best we can hope for is to a)weaken the * illusion of "man date" in the MSM; b) real election reform; and c) bring down * on charges of fraud when the real shit hits the fan!

I want Kerry too, and I truly believe more people voted for him than *, but Kerry isn't going to be inaugerated.
