Wear a black armband

Dear American Democrats,

I mourn with you as does much of the free world.

I am going to quietly wear a Black Armband with the words "Death of Democracy" or some more appropriate text till Americans manage to bring back democracy in the USA.

I would like suggestions of the best words for my armband - but it must have universal appeal - not just for Americans!!

How many of you will have the courage join me in this 4 year campaign? How many of you will be able to persuade your Congressmen and Senators to do the same so that we know who is "with us" and "against us"?

plastic sleeve yard sign was black on the inside. I turned it inside out and put it back in my yard!

For many years I worked, through human rights organizations, to pressure dictatorial governments around the world to release dissidents and implement democracy and human rights. And the pressure worked.

Unfortunately I'm asking those around the world to put pressure on the American government today. We need you. Especially, try your best to stop the foreign financing of the national debt. We are vulnerable on this. If Bush has no money, he will soon have no wars.

6. This is good

We mourn the loss of John F. Kerry today. After a long fight, the battle is over. The war is just beginning. Being from another country, I'm sure that you can gain insight that we cannon in the U.S. We were close, and probably won in spite of the votes that were "officially" reported and counted. I still am having a hard time grasping that the exit polls were wrong and that record voter turnout everywhere only led to about 2-3 million more votes than Gore had. Inconsistencies are glaring this time. We can either wait for America to "wake up", or we can take this country back. A good study of history will show the parallels between the United States and Stalinist Russia. We have the cults of brainwashed fools. We have skewed elections. We have rampant nationalism around the corner. There have even been rumors of nuclear arms being added to the war on terror. We have yet to learn our lesson this time. No more high road. It is blocked and snowed in. Welcome to the jungle, it gets worse here every day.
