I will lose what respect I have for him. I think ALL Dems should stand up, but if none do, I will no longer be a Dem and I don't think any Black American should be one either. If Dems don't stand up for us and especially for the all the Blacks that were dis-enfranchised, Dems are no better than Reps.

In my post I said,..."stand up for us, but especially for Blacks". The Dems (and anyone else who cares about democracy), should be standing up. In Ohio and Florida you can not deny that Blacks were targets of voter suppression. But when anyone's vote is not counted WE do not have a democracy for any of US. ALL of us should be outraged about ALL voter suppression, it's just that Black suppression is more visible. That's all I was trying to say.

If he were not the candidate, I could agree. If someone else were the candidate, then calling for him to stand up would be legitimate.

But he IS the candidate, so I think it would be bad form and spun badly in the press if he were one of the ones to stand up.

Of course, if all the Dems stand up en mass, that would also be a different story. I can dream can't I?

It will take a whole hell of alot more than that to make me lose respect for him.

As an African American I will be watching those standing up and those sitting down. We will see who is naughty and who is nice.

January 6th will be like those voting FOR slavery or AGAINST slavery in 2004.

Any elected official who does not seek the truth regarding suppression and fraud in this election and 2000 does not ever deserve the votes/donations and loyalty of the African American community in the future.

I am by no means saying that I would vote for a Republican but I am saying that there better be some hands raised and voices heard this time.

Thank you Michael Moore for showing the world what happened in 2000.
