Proof that Ohio was stolen: Negative vote count in one Diebold County
News Update from Citizen for Legitimate Government

Ohio Stolen (blog entry, gnn.tv) 2004-11-03 16:26:30 "Greg Palast and Randi Rhodes reported today that the state of Ohio was stolen by the Republicans in election 2004. Ohio was the critical state that tipped the balance, giving the presidency to Bush. Turns out one County in Ohio, equipped with Diebold electronic voting machines, reported NEGATIVE 25,000 votes. Wha?!? That’s what at least one election official in Ohio said. The votes from that County are lost. Not counted. GONE!"

Fixed - The Stealing of Another Election (Democratic Underground.com) --by EarlG --Kerry winning Exit Polls --"FRAUD LOOKS PROBABLE --SoCalDem has done a statistical analysis... ...on several swing states, and EVERY STATE that has EVoting but no paper trails has an unexplained advantage for Bush of around +5% when comparing exit polls to actual results. In EVERY STATE that has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the margin of error. So, we have MATCHING RESULTS for exit polls vs. voting with audits vs. A 5% unexplained advantage for Bush without audits."

15. We must march to demand the votes be counted!
If we fail to do so, we are not worth saving.

10. Thank you for visiting Wally World
Hold on tight it's going to be a bumpy roller coaster and no getting off until 2008! At Wally World, Wally can decide who will be the next pResident. He said he would deliver Ohio to BOOOOSHit. Please keep all limbs in the car. Do not try to get off the ride, stay seated throughout the ride.

He came thru just as Jeb came thru in 2000 and probably in 2004 as well.

"In EVERY STATE that has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the margin of error. So, we have MATCHING RESULTS for exit polls vs. voting with audits vs. A 5% unexplained advantage for Bush without audits."

Show me the number to support this allegation.

13. LOL
ROFLMAO

I have been warning anyone who would listen about this for 3 years. I have been bloging on this subject for 2 years.
http://www.badgimp.blogspot.com

No surprise here, not for me.

In fact I collected on 2 bets at the office today for $200 total. The bet was: Bush wins and at a margin that is non contestable via recount in any major swing state.

I am not a genius or a psyhic, nor is this the outcome I wanted.

Once you understand these machines and the associated technology, and look into who is behind them, you come away with a clear understanding that he who controls these machines, controls the outcome of the election(s).

Some questions you should know the answers to:

- Who wrote and rammed thru Congress the legislation that designated the technology, the methods and the suppliers?

- Who built the machines and created the software that runs them and the central computers that the voting machines data cards are uploaded to?

- Why do the voting machines and the central computers the results are uploaded to not create and maintain ANY type of audit trail or ledger? Why would someone create a process so void of checks and balances?

- If the machines and the associated technology are used to affect the outcome of an election, then who benefits and who looses? (hint: reflect back to last night Nov 2nd :) )

If you really want to get informed visit http://www.BlackBoxVoting.com – but be prepared to be disheartened by the fact that many of us saw this commming and were not able to elevate the issue enough. Gee I wonder why...hmmm..oh well.

We still have 06..

14. WTF? Why vote if it keeps getting stolen????
Ok what the hell? The election was stolen in 2000 and now this? Who does this? Who rigs the machines? Who has the power to do it? If repugs can do this then why don't dems do it too? And what are all the lawyers that kerry was talking about doing? Aren't they looking into this?

16. You're right
we were robbed. People did see this coming, who was the gal who sued back east?

But you know, they were quicker than we were, most of the focus was on Iraq, the prison scandal, the bullshit on the Kerry's war record, the convention, the debates, registering people, the list goes on and on.

They knew we were too preoccupied with the campaign, and the fox got right into the henhouse under our noses.

Clever SOB's, aren't they?

17. I also knew this was coming
Bev Harris did an excellent job exposing the fraud that would be prevalent in this election.

She did manage to get some people to listen and hold hearings, but it just didn't get the real attention it deserved.

I think that we really need to pursue this before 06, or the Rethuglicans will continue to win (STEAL) every election in the near future!!!

18. Yes,
that's who it was, Bev Harris. They put the kobosh on that, didn't give her any airtime, branded her as a "nut". I remember that site from last spring, and I know it was out there way before then.

19. From a Salon article: Fed panel hears e-vote not fully reliable
May 6, 2004  |  WASHINGTON (AP) -- -- Scientists told a federal panel Wednesday that electronic voting isn't completely reliable and suggested a backup paper system might be the only way to avoid another disputed presidential election in November.

But the commission's chairman said he didn't expect the bipartisan panel would issue national standards requiring paper receipts when it makes preliminary recommendations next week, followed by more detailed guidelines next month.

"We will not decide on what machines people will buy," said Republican DeForest B. Soaries Jr., chairman of the newly created U.S. Election Assistance Commission, saying it wasn't the panel's role to tell states what to do. "We will say, if California wants to have a backup paper system, what national standards it should follow."

At least 20 states are considering legislation to require a paper record of every vote cast after rushing to get ATM-like voting machines to replace paper ballots after Florida's fiasco with hanging chads in the 2000 presidential election. About 50 million people, or 29 percent of voters, are expected to vote electronically.

23. Why are people acting surprised or shocked by this?
We knew that this could and probably would happen. Diebold is a Republican contributor and fought long and hard to not have paper ballots. What we need to do is figure out how to retaliate against the Republicans. I personally am going to hit them long and hard on "moral values". I have a list of about 50 Repugs that have paid for abortions, cheated on their spouses, been arrested for various immoral activities, abused their children, etc. It's all documented and in print. I'm just working on the format that I'm going to use to get the information out to people who vote based on "moral values".

and expose every "moral values" Repuke as the hypocritical liars they are. Bring to light their double life; embarrass their families, especially their children; show them we mean business. Take no prisoners--it's WAR, baby!!

I would give this post more credibility if the county was mentioned. Otherwise, it just sounds like some vague urban legend.

26. I'd have to see proof
before I buy into this reactionary reasoning. I work on stuff like this, and if what is being reported in the article was true, wholesale firealarms would have gone off and the Ohio State DA would have swung into action.

It just doesn't seem plausible to me.

voter registrations because they were on the wrong weight paper? Oh wait, he was the one who was trying to disenfranchise those voters.
